So Edwardstown will be in D4. I'm assuming the other two clubs would go up?

I would have Salisbury as the club most likely to not go up, just from the whispers I've heard. I hope they do come up, I've always enjoyed the games we've played against them.

And who would be the clubs referred to here in this quote... "Our ongoing concerns on the viability of at least one club and the desired ability to compete for another does not allow us the opportunity to offer the expected gradings for 2016 with any great confidence."

At a guess (and that's exactly what it is) you'd assume they'd be referring to Salisbury West and North Pines?

Ha. That's not the sole reason I would like to play you guys again. We've never had any issues in my time at Walkerville when playing you guys, its always good to have a hard hit out without any stupidity involved.

They don't sound like the sort of players you'd want around then.

I heard they will be in Div 4 unless one of Kilburn and Salisbury don't want to go up to Div 3, then Townies will take the vacant spot in Div 3.

I've heard mutters about c grade divisions being more geographically based next year. Would reduced travel times and increased local rivalries help reduce forfeits?

Dont think there is 6 players. May lose a couple older blokes who may retire. They probably wouldve retired had we won the GF anyway no matter if we were in Div 1 or Div 7. They may be talked into playing if in 4 but doubt they would play in 3. If other blokes leave because we are in a higher div, then i agree the club can do without those blokes, let them go to a lower div where its a little easier for them

Has been tried many times and only comes out as a disaster.

I should know played in that style of comp for about 4 seasons and the results are very lopsided and get a little boring!!!

The current system works well previously huge wins and forfeits galore and clubs playing out of their depth

RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
