Yep but they’ll change them back if they ever play Hope Valley again.

We can't have nice things- that's somewhat of a regular saying at North Haven and it does my head in.
The new scoreboard was a huge addition to our club this year and I love it but yet again our club is the target of vandals, some people are just dead set c**ts.

We can't have nice things- that's somewhat of a regular saying at North Haven and it does my head in.

Be nice to take them a little further up the Peninsula and remind them why they shouldn’t come back. You guys worked so hard on putting that together.

So it's Golden Grove into the Grand Final in both the A and B grade, Flinders Park into another C grade GF and Havens host the preliminary final triple header, disappointing that our boys lost on Saturday but good they have another chance and great for the club to host another day of finals.

Unfortunately Golden Grove proved to be too good for our A grade on Saturday. Whilst it was only a 15 point margin in the end GG led all game and when challenged by our boys in the second half they looked to still be comfortable enough to hold NH at bay.

Despite being 8/9 goals down at one point NH didn't give up came home with a wet sail, kicking 8.2 to 4.4 in the last quarter with the aid of a strong breeze but the damage was already done in the first half, particularly the first quarter where GG kicked 6.5 to 2.0 to set the game up. Their ball movement was slick and everything went right for them as almost every time they went inside 50 they had a shot on goal.

Flinders Park big winners in the first semi final, Modbury out in straight sets! FP wouldn't hold any fears playing at North Haven this Saturday after knocking off NH at home by 5 points back in round 6. Trenordon with another bag on Saturday, he is a gun key forward and stopping him and cutting off his supply is obviously a key.

Whilst they've been impressive in the last two weeks I've seen them I was quite shocked to see GG win the B grade second semi by that much against a side who has been the best team in the comp for 3 years in Flinders Park. 14.6 to 3.4, they completely dismantled them.

Flinders Park C grade go into what I believe is their sixth GF appearance in a row and are going for four flags in a row. That's a phenomenal effort.

Should be a cracking game in the Grand Final between the short priced Golden Grove who have been the measuring stick all year, and the team with momentum, Flinders Park, who have been crushing teams in the last 5 weeks. The reds had a slow start to the season losing their first 3 games but have really found their mojo since and their big wins over Modbury and North Haven in the last 2 finals we’re very impressive. Trenorden has been a big in and I really like young McCann up forward and Koby Evans recent form in the midfield gives the reds the luxury of pushing Blythe forward where he becomes even more dangerous. They lost to Golden Grove in round 3 at Harpers Field by 35 points but they are undefeated since. I think they are primed to hold up the cup in what should be a beauty.
Parks 1-30 is my tip.

Should be a close game, two very good sides, GG by a kick for me but could go either way

Sorry for not keeping up, but is the number of spectators at this weekend's GF restricted and if so, how many?

Flinders Park were very good last Saturday, lifted to another gear in the last half particularly in the third quarter where they kicked 9.4 and were unstoppable so with that momentum you'd give them every chance to win it and it's hard for me to tip but I still think Golden Grove will win it.

I think Golden Grove will do the double and win the A and B grade with Flinders Park winning their forth flag in a row in the C grade. Would be unreal if FP managed to win all 3 though.

Personally I wouldn't mind either club looking at being promoted if they win it (if the league allows it) given they have been dominant across the grades since we have been in Div 3. Would be nice to see the back of at least one of them haha.

One is for sure The Dark Knight is it should be a terrific game. I watched us beat Flinders Park in round 2 and in round 4 you guys demolish us. I haven’t watched Golden Grove play this year as I missed the clinical demolition they did on us in round 7. I’m sure they are deserved favourites but what they did to you guys last week was as good as I’ve seen in Div 3 this year. Frankly we’d like to see the back end of both of them.

Amazing finish! Very clean passage of play leading up to that goal considering the pressure and time that was left. The guy who kicked it (kicked the second to last goal aswell), Horskins can play and has cut us up a few times.

Interestingly enough there were quite a few very close results across the grades yesterday.

How's the boundary umps getting the ball back so quick after the 2nd to last goal? Took 30 seconds from the goal going thru to the ball going up in the middle.

Golden Grove bloke coming off the back of the square at the last ball up, props to you young man, that contest won them the game.

A few things I took out of watching some of the game:

The footage is excellent.

Good to see the man mountain Shane Scudds still running about and playing on the ball.

Loved at the 9:30 minute mark seeing the umpire ask the player to get the ball for him, #1 for Flinders could be sitting round 1 out next season around the same time.

#31 for GG has 11 letters in his name without a vowel.
