I don't know what the big deal is. We've got a bunch of players out, but we'll have 18 blokes on the field, all with two arms and two legs.

Well no one tipped the eagles... Very interesting! Perhaps they will surprise a few more sides his year. Scotch are a very good side and move the ball very well... They will be there at the pointy end

Good result for Greenies down at Glandore yesterday, it's an oval we have allways had difficulty playing with any confidence.
Credit to WOS for a good effort as I know they have lost a lot of players for one reason or another.
They jumped us early again and there was little in it at half time (our poor kicking helping their cause) they have some very quick players and are prepared to share the Sherrin only to be let down by some skill errors at crucial moments but they showed enough that I believe the first win wont be far away.

Hope the lad that went off to hospital by ambulance is ok, but I was surprised to hear(not sure if its the truth) that it was his second heavy head hit for the day and he may well have been concussed from the first one (why was he on the ground if true) however the trainers from WOS ceartainly appeared to know their business getting him into the recovery position very quickly etc

Not going to get into the central umpires but I doubt WOS were any more impressed than we were, I would have thought that for $115 per umpire it would not be unreasonable to expect people under retirement age

Sets the scene for a very interesting clash between Salisbury and ourselves after the break, someone will be a game clear on top and both teams should have good squads coming off a rest.

A bit surprised to see Elizabeth get over Scotch but any time some of the college teams go North of GJ Road they loose the plot , but credit to the Eagles you still have to win the game no matter where its played.
