i reckon it will be a beauty between HV and BL on ANZAC day, 2 sides very desperate for the points.

Well if Pooraka can beat them and we can beat Pooraka, i'd say we would have to be confident going in. Also 3 wins against them last year means we do tend to have the wood on them. I do agree with cossi though, should be a very hard fought contest as usual...

Yep we will leave it at that, not 100% correct but on the right path ;)

Hard to gauge i think, it is always hard for the first 9 rounds until you get a look at each side. Last season both games during the season were decided by 7 and 8 points, i would assume it will be similar and a tough hard contest like it always is against HV.

How you think you guys will go?? you are in the same boat as us, played in the same div last season but alot can change over the pre season with ins and outs and players developing etc.

Thats one of the funniest things iv heard groover... U can gauge any1 until u have played them once or twice.... Plus your oval is alot smaller than ours which suits ur game... Hoping a different story when u have the return leg

he was spoken to (not to mention the young lad threw the 1st one, tell his mum that) didnt know bout the mooning  . but obviously you weren't watching both sides... 18 i think was having cheap shots on our forward in the 3rd and the 4th in the 2's, but i guess thars ok... also i'd be more concerned about your young lads mouthing off and trying to get late hits, give away 25m penaltys, i counted 7 in the a's, mouthing off to the crowd, arguing with the umpire, with each other. thats in both grades. be proud of that....
i very rarely comment on here, but SD very one sided comment. 2 teams out there. all actions were poor...[/quote]

On another note....
The GG boys are frothing at the bit for ANZAC day

I think we forgot about CBOC win by the time we hit the rooms and everyone was already talking about Thursday.
Never seen the lads as eager to hit Sunday recovery at a chilly semaphore to help with the short turn around

Love playing Greenacres.
Love beating Greenacres.
Hold a special place in the darkest corner of my heart for them....
Is always a good game, no matter where the sides are on the table. Cliche but true

Any one not involved with either of the two clubs likely to wander to the prison for a gander?

Normally I would but we're playing too this year at Brahma Lodge.

Lucky the game isn't at Hope Valley, our stairs were a virtual waterfall tonight  There were blokes who have been at the club for 20 years and more who said they've never ever seen that much water...., pictures on the Hope Valley FB page
