Have watched a fair few games in div 5 and would have to say what I have seen is that Ormond Allen is the best in div 5 by far and should be given his previous standard of footy and look out for rosies if they can get disciplined. They will shape the 5

GG are good, quick and young which can be both positive and negative, lots of depth and lots of confidence, dont look as good away from home but their big oval may help come finals as most of time played on a bigger oval.

Plympton the same as GG just with out the forward target GG has. Dont like the defensive way Plympton go about it, one of the lowest scorers for and against, but in saying that they are very well drilled to their game plan which means well coached and it obviously is getting them the points most the time but may not against the GG and Greenies that will just outfire them. Perhaps when the full forward comes back they may look more dangerous, very good young ruckman.

Greenies are the ones that stand out thus far "obviously", they have to many players to match up on, targets up forward, onballers and strong defense, Ryan has got them disciplined and even with up to 8 out they keep getting across the line. Look out as they still have a lot of improvment with several new players and new game plan in 08.

The rest are pretenders I believe but thats just my point of view and I have seen most.

Probably all obvious points just thought about time I gave my point of view. Look forward to your points...

What do you mean by "pretenders", no one goes out and pretends to play. I don't see many clubs on here blowing their own trumpets.

i think he means the others are just there to make up the numbers and wont be a threat for the flag. althought i'd like to think were a contender even though we lost by a lot to greenacres and we lost to plympton after being 7 pionts up during the last quarter

Perhaps he should go back to just "reading", Two of the pretenders have knocked off Rosies, Ormond-Allen is very talented, how will they go if he gets injured?

There is 13 rounds to go, a lot can happen.

Rosies have 2 great players and one is injured. The talented, evergreen Robbie Cains just keeps getting better with age. Should be back from injury next week, will make a massive difference to the Rosewater forward line

You blokes all get very touchy, everyone can see its a 3 horse race, I said rosewater would shape the final 5 not win the comp... and my opinion was ormond allen is the best player in div 5 from what I have seen. His previous record would probably confirm that, he is a class act and last I looked no other player had AFL experience. I watched him play all positions on the oval including ruck. "in my opinion"

A lot of you blokes cant see past your nose, there are good div 5 footballers but until they do anything else they are good div 5 footballers, dont take it all so personal. It is good to have belief in your team but dont get carried away... I am happy to listen to any players that may push my opinio on ormond allen.

...That should ruffle some more feathers...

what ur saying is that ormand allen was a class act, just because he has played afl dosent mean that he's the best in div 5 atm. we have played rosewater and he didnt do anything in the first half, third quarter played a bit better but then wen he went into the ruck thats wen we got our run and won the game late. sure he's still goes alright but i wouldnt say the best in div 5

None of the players in Div 5 would be good enough to do up Trents boot laces. Who you blokes trying to kid?? He wouldn have even got out of first gear yet this season. Keep the posts coming cos it is great entertainment.
