Might be heading towards D3 by then. Gowers good player. Think he won Medal years back but Patruno is a crock.

Should be a great round of footy this week after some interesting first round results,
Broadview vs Uni close but Broadies to get home
Seaton Ramblers Vs Kilburn, may be biased and a little hopeful Kilburn by 12 points
Flinders Park vs Pembroke, both disappointing first round Flinders Park home on Paul Smiths large back.
Athelstone vs PHOS another that will be real close but PHOS by a couple.
Eastern Park vs Payneham NU. match of the round Eastern Park with homeground advantage and Adrian Wilson to just get the money.
Could miss all of them, some tight games. Anybody else going to commit themselves?

Broadview v Uni ( Broadies by 5 goals)
Seaton v Kilburn ( Seaton easy )
Flinders Pk v Pembroke ( Pembroke by a couple )
Athelstone v PHOS ( Good game this one maybe Athelstone by 3 goals )
Eastern Pk v Payenham ( Payenham must adapt to the oval & keep the opposition supporters quiet as quickly as possible or they will be in for a rough day, the start is the key once again for Payenham, they do that they win by 5 goals )

Broadview v Uni - Broadies too big and experienced

Seaton v Kilburn - Like last week, Kilburn will stay in touch for 3 quarters only

Flinders Pk v Pembroke - Pickneys injured and not playing - Pembroke will struggle

Athelstone v PHOS - Could go either way ($1 e/w)

Eastern Pk v PNU - PNU had better hit early and hard, but they are a step up on EP

Jimmy why do you think Kilburn can only go 3 quaters? Fitness or youth? I don't necessarily disagree with you by the way just wondering about your reasons.

Last week against Broadies, Ocker told the players to stick with Broadview and they would run out of legs due to their age. Apparently Broadview's average age is in the 30's. I left at half time but according to reports, you were within 3-4 goals in the last quarter, but Broadies kicked away to win by 13. That's a big last quarter, if it is true how close you were.

So, to be perfectly honest, I couldn't tell you whether it was fitness, youth or withstanding pressure for the full 4 quarters. Seaton wont be as good as Broadview, but they will still have D1-2 experienced players, and a few of your players looked off the pace.

Then again...........I could be wrong.............who knows........

I'll take,

Broadies over Uni by 5 goals.
Seaton - Only because its at Seaton
Flinders at home over Pembroke
PHOS & Athelstone is a tough one..........ummmmmmm Phos to win if they keep Trav White quiet
EP over Payneham( i hope) in a close one
Harsh but fair.....

Happy for teams to think we are old and slow, we have 5 blokes over 30 in the A's but have 11 under 23, the others are middle 20's, good mix i reckon. Hopfeully the experience can get us the lead and settle the team, and the young fellas can run out the game as we look to have a free flowing game plan.

Kilburn need to watch young Stokesy. The kid will tear you apart given the oppotunity. Maybe Kilburn should use Shrek to curb Stokesy???

Is the club president aware that Occa is being offered another contract, it would suprise me considering the differences the two have??
