Good to see you are back to your old, irrational self Ouzo. I was getting worried, we were being too nice to each other for a while there, we even agreed on a few things !

Will Portland actually win a game in 08? Will they play finals?
I know it's early, I know it seems a rude question but seriously 0-3 and they had some pretty big ins for season 08; what is bloody going on?!

Well I guess if they can't win a game TC then it's highly unlikely that they will play finals!

Thanks Teflon.

Fisty / Felch how was the feeling at training last night, under a fair bit of pressure now, 0 - 3 with some big games coming up.
Is Shaun Hughes back this week?[/quote]

Training was ok, everyone knows we need a win, pretty obvious.

Hughes back this week for sure. A couple of others too, i dont think we will lose anyone with injury from the A grade - good for a change ! :D

And Teflon/FM, we will win a game, at some stage !!!

As i said, the balance is restored. I didn't appreciate the comment of eating humble pie from newman thought I was being reasonably fair on what I based my opinion on but obviously not, I will be using one or two syllable words from now on so newman can get his head around it.

I dont get what the big deal is with a coach telling a player that he pulled out, runners are told to do it all the time, if the coach is close enough to tell the player himself then why not. after all the guys team mate is the one thats on here telling everyone who he is. cant be that big of a deal.

How bout the millions Nth Haven have spent on players, I heard they all hate each other and train seperately. Apparently Matt Hood demanded he play in gold plated boots on top of his 600 a game and that Nth Haven are funding all this with massive grants from the government due to them bribing high ranking politicians. They are also very soft, 1 player didn't mark a ball on the wing lets find out who it was and attack him after game because that would be the right thing to do.
Thank god, the balance is restored.
Oh yeah, Birdy best player ever, ever!
almost forgot that, Lucky.

that was just stupid ouzo!!!

Its not a big deal usually barry. If it is said during a game, fair play but not after the game when people are shaking hands thats just being a bad loser. Im all for getting stuck into people during the game, it may mean the difference between winning and losing but as soon as the siren goes you shake hands and move on unless the person did something very very dirty to someone, but the bloke didn't take a mark, big deal the game was over, no need for that but if thats fair play at portland than i guess it should be wherever they go.

First training under Jake Watts was a complete success, looking good for the big fella. Now if he could only master the finer points of coaching such as fighting, getting suspended, attacking your own players and being a bad loser then we would have the 2nd best coach going around.

Great work by the club to appoint Jake, spent time listening to him Sat. arvo and respect from his team was most evident. Good luck to him, a great player and soon to be a great coach =D>
