Mate...you have tipped against us in all bar one game this year, that being the central united game. Understandable to tip against us for greenacres, alot of people did but in all seriousness, what more do we have to do to impress you?

Is it ...
a) you really dont like us and dont tip us on principal

b) you genuinley beleive that all the sides we have played so far are better than us bar central united

or

c) You are tipping against us each week, just in we case falter, so you can proclaim on here that GG are an average side and you knew it all along

Exactly. This has been knowledge for a while now.
It has been in and on every paper for a while
Not exaclty Mr Current Affairs are we HB3?

Honestly we are doing all we can to get our money back. It was rightfully awarded to us by the previous government, not an election promise.

We are pulling strings wherever we can and hopefully something will occur with major media outlets (Today tonight or TFS) soon. Dont hold me to it as we are only looking at these options.

For all who are concerned please help by signing our petition to presnt to canberra. We are looking for 8000 signatures and we have 3000 already. Only sign if your are 18 or over. A signature by a person under that age will render it invalid.

Here is the link to the petition.
http://www.messenger.net.au/vibe/sport.pdf

If you would like to sign it circulate, Feel free. Once done check http://www.ggfc.com.au to see who to post it too!

With all your help 8000 should be a breeze.

Cheers
BB

Why doesnt GG take a loan out and build clubrooms.... sure they may not be as state of the art as they want but hey anything is better than what they have. So far all they have done is hold there hand out.

Footy Smart, at least GG's tin sheds dont leak and smell like mould. Perhaps TPTB at Hawkland could take your advice:lol:

Hey we love our tin sheds cos we didnt hold out our hand for everything we have as GG have done so far and still want more money. Our club rooms are great and tin sheds do the trick. Im not saying that they arnt entitled to the money the sought to get and were promised but i rekon if it doesnt work out get over it and be like the other clubs and take out a loan. Sounds like they have a solid junior and senior program so paying back the loan shouldnt be that hard when the club rooms are built.

It's crap that GG had their hopes raised because of a vote-grabbing ploy by the Coalition. But IMO it's also crap social policy to throw that much money at one club. All clubs require funding at various points and they shouldn't have to squeeze blood out of a stone to get it. I hope you get something that will facilitate your club's developmental intentions. From all reports, an application of such proportions will be no easy task.

At least Golden Grove are still a relatively new club in an area that has gone through a population explosion over the last 10-15 years and needed to form to accommodate the growth in the area and are still growing now.
Pollies throwing millions to individual clubs? Tell that to Christopher Pyne then, who threw over a mill at The Campbelltown Soccer Club last year- a club that has been established for a hundreds of years (well you know what I mean), but intially wouldn't even consider a request by us for $50000 for lights.

Our club hasn't asked the council or anyone else for that matter for any funding what so ever in over 30 years, and we still had to fight tooth and nail to even get $30k out of them. and we are the only club in the council area (besides Norwood).

meanwhile, places like Greenacres and some of the Salisbury clubs have hundreds upon thousands thrown at them because they cry "disadvantaged"..pfft..
