and cheers to elizabeth for the beers after the match. first time ive stayed around after the match and it was worth it

thats the good thing about driving ALL that way for a game is they welcome you with open arms after the game in the club. All clubs do this to get money but eliz do a good job of it.

Sorry you are right i missed that one. Probably because i was keeping an eye out for the half page write up we usually see from you about elizabeths game and how good they are...Not too sure if i agree with you though i saw the game and i thought your lads were lucky that it was not a 10 goal loss hectorville switching off in the last 5 to 10 minutes allowed three or four easy goals to be kicked.. I will give credit to the very loud supporters in the pocket makes for a good atmosphere and a win like that so much sweeter
your a goose mate. Move along

And yes I was in the pocket and the highlight was the full forward running past and counting to 5 on his fingers after kicking 5! Biggest laugh we've had in a while, hope the heccies boys gave him the crap he deserved for that effort! Haha

And great to see lots of them enjoying some brews, had a good chat to Sam Ritchie and a couple others, really good lads and always welcome down at the club.

Was it Howson who did the counting on his fingers? Saw he was 1 of 2 who kicked 5. He's a deadset knob, celebrated a goal he kicked against us by putting his arm in the air and cheering his own name out loud for the crowd. Did it for a second time only for the ball to sail through for a point.

Really? I don't know if that is something you should publicly air. I stood him when we played you guys and had a beer with him and Junior after, seemed alright to me.

Seems players are reluctent to train and the club want to change their attitude with some not liking how they are going about it.

Just happened to get beaten by Sailsbury and Scotch about the same time so it seems a few spot fires are about to break out

Any Green Acres people care to comment

Yep... Green Acres is one word..as in Greenacres

Yes LM we do indeed have the Chicks and on their dung heap as well ...we do at least have a fair amount of local knowledge in our playing group  and I think a couple of our boys are looking forward to spending some quality time with Shrek and his mates (i assume he has some).

Big ground our form not as good as it should be .... going to be an entertaining contest.

Looking forward to exchanging some banter with those men that live on the mound ;)

I am also taking my own askarie (spelling) with me to help with any translation issues
