Sounds like there's other footage of a different incident.

I've heard (and then seen footage of) three separate incidents, however all involve the same player.

I've seen two of them on the same post, the second one was in the comments a few times, pretty sure I saw your name on the same post amongst the comments.

We had a player a few years get 6 games + 2 games suspended good behavior for an attempted knee to the head. Would think this incident is closing in on a life ban.

Im surprised on why there is allowed to be so much comment on the incident when normally it is all shut down, is it because of the club involved?

It's open slather with the incident already in the media

No it is not - everytime I tell people not to discuss it, I cop 3 pages of abuse. Damned if I do and damned if I don't

Plus it was already heavily in the media, as Q said.

OOOOOkkkaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy

I don't think you should make comments like that because we don't know the full story yet. I don't think anyone should discuss whether they have or haven't breached their AAA as it is up to the tribunal to decide without prejudice.

Quote, "Secondly, as well as the league, other news agencies tend to take posts straight off here and use them in their incorrect reporting. Sadly, Ive seen it done before."

"Chinese whispers can affect anyones chances at the tribunal."

That's why I wrote "allegedly" you little smartarse. Ok for everyone else to comment though, isn't it? :?

I'm only stirring FC :D

Yeah I just saw it too. Surely they wouldn't get a finals win taken away from them?

Wouldn't be willing to bet on that.

Be an absolute joke if they were disqualified. Take their points, put a 50% loading on it and that's what they start on next year. If it happens to be in Div 5 and they are on -9 then tough titties.

Would be disappointing for sure, certainly wouldn't class it an absolute joke.

If this was an isolated event(s) in the one game, or even if it was one of the other clubs on AAA then i'm sure your proposal would be the likely outcome, but this is a club that's history of on field issues goes back many many years.

This is a club that had their 18's pulled last year from finals if I remember correctly and were at a point where their affiliation in general was under question.

Like Salisbury North pretty sure they had to present a letter to the AdFL outlining why they should be allowed to remain, what they were going to do to change and had stricter criteria placed on their AAA.

Furthermore, the 'letter' they submitted I was told was simply a previous letter from a few years back they submitted for the same reason and just changed the dates - almost like they're taking the piss.

It's also made worse that these incidents have come less than a week after Kernahan sent an email addressing red cards/striking and adding the line "It would behove all clubs to remind coaches to in turn remind players what is on the end of not heeding to this warning."

Their history is arguably worse than Salis North's...and we know what happened there.

Well Bedge, when you put it like that all I can say is.. bring West Croydon back :D Technically finished second so here is the double chance - can't let Fitzroy just walk through to a prelim. Unless you put Rosewater straight into the GF (which is deserving) and Trinity and Fitzroy play as scheduled. Would be bizarre for Rosewater though to not play for 3 weeks.

Get rid of any team that do this type of shit. Clean it up and let them form their own thug league.

Seen way too many ex teammates quit ammos cause of clubs like this.

I love all the hypotheticals, I'm sure the league will do their investigations and work through it all.
