Have a wah wah Jugs !! If you don't want to be 'stuck' in the lowest grade do something about it and get yourself out of their instead of making it everyone elses fault that you aren't as good as them.........
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Jugs, you really dont like GG do you? Not that it bothers any of us. In response to your comment, we have plenty of guys in the D grade that can play, I am 32 and I am one of the younger players. Isnt that where we should be playing? Most of us can train at best once a week and footy is no longer our priority it is more for enjoyment. So what if some could play higher still, if Marshy for example played in the A,B or even C grade he would be taking the spot of a 18-22 year old who would be around the club for many more years now. Footy gods? call me a football athiest and believe in no such gods, we make our own luck and with that comes the early exit last year. A good number if the guys that played in thise games last year are in the C grade now, and then there is another group of guys that are hanging for the chance to redeem themselves, so you just keep bringing it up. At least the lads from SMOSH actually won something to be able to say it, what did you do????

Marshy played A's last year after doing pre-season and giving it one last crack but seeing as he is in his early 40's and his body not really holding up, hammies in particular, he has decided to just have a kick in the D's this year. Trust me, I have asked him to play B's.... A great player and a great club man to boot. It's just good to have him in our group.

IF he was playing A grade last year, wouldnt he still be good enough to play b's or c's?.whats happend to playing at the highest grade you can?.when i played you played where you got picked in the highest grade you could play, too many clubs go chasing flags in lower grades now days.wouldnt he be better off helping teach the younger players coming threw in the b&c grades,i feel that would be better for the club than playing against guys that are true d grade footballers?.But each to there own and every club is differant with differant goals.

No I disagree, he wouldnt be better teaching blokes in the B grade. that is what the coach is there for. If he was playing B grade at 40+ then he would be taking the spot of a kid trying to have a crack at A grade. He is not chasing flags, pretty sure he would hang a SANFL premiership meddle a heck of a lot higher than a C6 one. Our D grade at the minute comprises of a group of older guys that are nearing the end that just want to play together, not really that unlike SMOSH last season.

It was tongue in cheek there 1 club, I was referring to my thoughts that FP had won C5 last year and they would be tough. FP has a great C grade side and I think that their D grade will definitely push us again in our next meeting, they are quick! Good to get over the line on that one.

grove by around 3 goals today, not abad game to watch.Grove bigger bodies deserved the win but parks turned over the ball more than usual, missed easy goals and had fair few missing.Grove may have been missing players aswell im not sure but parks will be alot stronger than that this year but today well done g grove you deserved your win.C grade won very easy and will be hard to beat again this year after winning c2 flag last year.As your c grade lost by over 100 points will any d graders go up,i reckon your d grade would have given parks c grade a better run than your c grade did,i gather sides are picked on who trains and who dont?I thought your c grade were disappionting today and i was expecting a close game as parks c grade had a few go up and pull out today

I think you'll find that result is more a case of what is happening at Flinders Park than our team selections..... I heard that FP's C grade contains a few former A graders not happy with the coach who have decided to play C's instead of A's... Plus we prefer to play our young guys in the C's and leave the old farts to play D's seeing as most them are in their late 30's and early 40's.

No game. 2 days notice for a game is not enough to get a side ready. most players had family plans or work. Yes i bet you guys are looking forward to the game. Not sure what sort of side you will see this week. But good luck.

It will be a big day for our Club and hopefully that predicted rain stays away ;)

This had got spoken about at pressos.
From what i heard the boys were more than pleased with the hospitality they recieved after the game and are looking forward to the return leg.

i can only speak for myself. did not play you guys once last year. First time was too far away, second time and third time injured. But played most of last season. This year its a no for me playing, but things may change.
