Didn't he king hit a PAOC bloke a couple years back?

From memory that incident was so far off the ball neither umpire saw it.
The league was going to investigate however as SN were already on a AAA at the time they 'got on the front foot' and asked Jessen to leave the club before the league could suspend him. As such, the league accepted SN's decision and decided not to investigate the incident.

Anyone else find it a little amusing The Advertiser wrote "he fears his reputation (as a former bikie) wont help when he faces the tribunal this week.."

Umm hello bud, it's not your former life as a bikie that'll hurt, it's the fact you've been done before for similar offences.

What club is he at?

This.

This just doesn't happen enough anymore - it's one of the old school traditions that unfortunately has fallen by the wayside for a lot of clubs.

As far as I know, it's still a firm fixture in most country footy comps.

Henley Reserves have made it a rule that the whole side stick around and have a beer at half time of the A Grade. They do it to support the A Grade but also to give the oppo club some money over the bar.

Pity it has to be a rule and isnt a given

Yep i know. blokes just dont like hanging around after a game to support the oppo club and the A Grade

Would've been a lot worse, but Broadview were kind enough to allow Fischer and Simpson to play.

Seaton Ramblers 12.7 d TTG 11.7. Ramblers won it in the first half .... 5 goals up at the half. They were much cleaner with the ball. Gullies made a late charge, but not good enough on the day.

Would expect the loss will just wake TTG up.

How good is PHOS’s ground now!! Their setup is fantastic. The away changerooms are the best I’ve seen apart from maybe ROCS. With all the juniors training and all the traffic they must have on it each week the ground was in great condition

Result was 20 goals the other way in the trial 3 weeks ago.

We are pretty happy with the end result. Being able to configure the changerooms differently has helped in the current situation.
Still a bit to go with improvements but we'll be well set up going forward.

Oldman: Midway through the last quarter on the pavilion wing, video footage just misses it.

Speaking from a coaches perspective I can categorically say these incidents can be handled at the time by the coach and then the club. Any coach or club that doesn't reprimand their own player should also be questioned. If that means you lose the game then stiff shit. Its time clubs and officials are held more accountable for their players actions.

Now I haven't seen this incident so this is not directed at Broadview more then any other club and I know that I personally have benched players for undisciplined acts that don't belong on a footy field. I ask did Broadview sit the player if the umpires didn't?

The ball was forward of the incident and other than some spectators that reacted to seeing something it was seemingly missed by all other players and the coaches. So a little hard for the Broadview camp to take their own action if no-one has a clue what happened. Watch video from 95.45 when Broadview No. 1 is taking his kick on the camera side wing.

Soon after you can see some trainers attending to a Scotch player on his haunches but the game otherwise continues with no reaction from any other player and very little diatribe from spectators. Will be interesting how this unfolds without any report or video evidence but clearly some eyewitnesses.
