herd about the good captain cordial tonite as well - seems like everyone wants to get
rid of dennis from gepps. jacko got rid of him and he still floats back. probably the
least respected footy person in adelaide from what we here. clubs like geppx could
do better than guys with no credability like him. shame that people like u and dennis
with both of u with no credability could try to upset jacko. a joke footballer and joke
administrator with what he knows about sport u could write on back of match box.

I've heard this bloke Dennis is quick to knock other clubs paying a few $$$, yet when it comes to his club he gets very defensive.
I don't mind Gepps X F/C but i must say, they are right up their with the Salis Nth's as far as $$$ spent on players.

NM, I think you'll find that Dennis has never knocked any club for paying players and one thing I do know is that he found when first into Div 1, it was extremely difficult to get players until you earn your stripes.Clubs like Broadies, GoodieSaints etc. been in Div 1 for a long time and played finals footy which makes the club attractive so whilst they still pay, they don't need to go big. Don't kid yourselves either, all clubs pay in some form. The footy world is full of playing prostitutes, they sell themselves to the highest bidder.
As far as the comment on Gepps & Salis Nth, all talk about $$$'s is supposition, we all know how players like to talk themselves up and give the egos a boost. Mind you Gepps have had a few players like Schache, Heuskes, Mail, Carter, Steed that were worth every cent and more and a couple of coaches who were grossly overpaid,(names witheld)

The people at Gepps are no different to any other club, vying for success is what it's about and the occasional streak of jealousy tends to raise it's head every so often, clubs get used to that!

pity theres no success at gepps or sals nth for anyone to be jealous of. D1 Premierships 0 - years in comp (plenty)
money spent - huge

Suggest that your idea of years in comp (plenty) might want to be checked. FYI, not talking about jealousy of premierships, probably more the stupid ideas and thoughts that come from people such as you with regards finance. Incidentally, we would have had an extra year in Div 1 but for, Yep, you guessed it!!!!

GXFC first year in A1 2003, A1 2004-2005, A2 2006, A1 2007- .That makes 2008 the fifth year in A1.No doubt should of had 4 and going for the 5th A1 premiership by now!!!They are pretty easy to win.
Just refresh my memory how many Div 1 flags have Flinders Park won in the last 20 years in fact when was the last time A1 was graced with the eggs and sauce jumper of Flinders Park.Time to bring back Lou Callotta.

boozehound, after reading the last few pages of this forum i think i've got a wrap on you. yes probably hard done by in the GF & replay. footyineng, get a grip the dennis you are having a go at is well regarded by a lot of people in SAAFL .[ i dont know him but relying on people who's opinion i respect]. as for your coach ask some of the uni people to get a wider range of views.

Cheers mate although doesn't change much...I have no medal and GXFC has no flag hanging in the clubrooms....

i get on here and try and be as honest as possible. i try not judge people on hearsay but on personal experience.....If i don't know i don't comment....more should take on that advice....

I'd love to play on TBS...he's the only bloke on the ground slower than me...

Kilburns strengths are their run from the middle and targets up forward however I think they have their fair share of weaknesses which we might try better to expose next time...

Won't give away too much though.....

TBS, scrap was a bit of fun no real damage done and we all had a laugh later in the game....yes both of your players against little old me...
