4 of the top 8 goalkickers in the one side zedman with 113 goals between them, our lads will have their work cut out for them. seems the boys up at harpers field are fired up for this one so should make for an interesting afternoon down in the parklands
was impressed with your lads saturday, they were on the ball after half time we just managed to kick goals at the right time to stay upwards of 4 goals up. from memory 11 and 18 played pretty well and the big bloke up forward was a target.

The Money that GG are throwing around to some players they would want to be wining games by these margins. He’ll if they make it into Div 1-2 they will need a salary cap of an SANFL club. But i guess that’s what happens when you try to buy Flags, just hope that if you guys go all the way (And by watching the scores over the past few weeks I think at this stage it’s looking good) you can sustain, and keep the Team over the next few years.

Inside word from people involved at a High level within the Dragons, it’s going to be a long 6-8 weeks to come!

Im unsure where your are getting your info from but i dont think it is very accurate. No offense intended.

Ill accept that some of the players in the squad are recieving some financial compensation but i didnt think the amount for any individual is beyond there percieved worth. There is no animosity between any of the guys regarding this and the player group is very very tight. We are not into recruiting cash hungry mercenaries. I dont think the club has tried to 'buy' a premiership. When you look at the fabric of our team 80-85% of the best agrade 21 are home grown talents.

Each of the individuals that have been brought to the club are the the type that will involve themselves and become strong club people, hopefully never wanting to leave. I know that is the case with most. All individuals are helping to evolve a club culture into something that is very strong on and off the field.

As someone said early blokes in the mould of Simmo are great club man and gives us so much more than an onfield performance. The same can be said for many others, BuddyScudds included.

BB, Mate I know Simmo mate, great club man, was well respected when he left us. But didn’t go to you guys just for the Nice Playing surface!
All I was saying that speaking to boys around the clubs good remuneration is being handed out among many.
Don’t get me wrong mate, You guy’s are red hot Favourite's for the Flag and so should be. Think we all know that players of great talent and skills (and good lads) don’t just move for the new club songs.
I know they don’t head to our club for that anyway!
Good luck with the GF Replay, GG to win by 12+ after the break!

thought the umps were pretty reasonable. we gave away our usual 3-4 25's in the first quarter and i reckon the umps just make you earn it more if they get alot of back chat. thought the yellow card for a lad falling over and tripping one of your guys was a bit harsh but obviously not the way the ump saw it.

i think if any club was trying to buy a flag it was greenacres..how many did they bring from kilburn?..12?..they didnt improve their depth just added new guys to the a grade..their b grade results tell us that

and bb has said 90% of the a grade is the a grade from last year..topped up with paid players yes, but thats normal

sprint: the yellow was not called for..i agree..but they were a lot better than some of the orange fools we have had this year

8 players from Kilburn listed in Greenacres As. I think there's on in the Bs too but that's all that went there in the end.

Geezuz that felt good

18 goals in the second quarter

surely thats a typo there  surely ingle farm couldnt have lost by that much! i know the 489 point thing is a typo but a div 4 club coming down must be in real trouble losing by that much

They're much chop down there.. I know a bloke who couldnt make the Gepps Cross C Grade in 06 and plays A Grade there. They should go down again you'd think.. And Matt Floyd running around in C Grade, whats the do there. He is a gun. Many games in norths Junior system.

Matty Floyd playing c's at the Farm???
Surely not!
If i was coaching there id pick him in the 1's. Not a bad player if i remeber rightly

Regarding the ex gepps lad. Same can be said for andy hartwell. Playing a's out at Ingle Farm at the moment but was dropped from our B-grade grand final side last year. Otherwise was floating between our b's and c's. The boys on the hill gave him a cold reception saturday.

Sure is mate.. Played in the country last year and year before.. I think he plays C's by choice but surely not by selection commitee.. Where did you remember him playing so we know we're on aboutt he same bloke? Are you a grove boy?

Remember him having a run at north. Blonde kid, tallsih midfielder. Didnt think much of him as a potential SANFL player but definatley more than good enough for a5 footy. Involved at GG yes.

Thats him.. Could cut it Div 1 when fit for sure.. Bit of a softy at times but great hands and disposal. I'll equire to why he is playing c grade.
