I'm looking forward to coming across this Waering bloke. What grade will he be playing? Seriously.

He will def play 'A' grade i would think. More injuries than a 40yr old though, this may restrict him. Broken down at the ripe old age of 18

If it is the bloke that played at port u19's then he is nothing special.

Definately would not be paying money for him, if i was portland i would
let him play at North Haven.

when you say he's not worth it do you mean in a playing sence or as a person

I'm sick of hearing about this Wareing bloke. Never seen him play....but If he was struggling to get a game for Port Under 19's then he can't be that bloody good. We have (Pooraka) atleast 4-5 blokes who were in and out of the North Under 19's side this year all of which who will be playing for us this year, but these guys still need a few years to get used of the bigger bodies.

What happened to the days of just being lucky to play an A Grade game when your 18/19. I can't stand young blokes who chase money because they think they are better than what they are.
Don't get me wrong, don't know the bloke from a bar of soap, and he is probably a half decent player but at 18 if he's not playing leauge or reserves footy he ain't going to be a super star! Not worth the Hype!

would have played ressies but has had a horrible run with injuries last season
vice captained under 17's to years in row!!
there is no question if he can play, just if he can keep his body in good shape!!

Waering to Salisbury? I've seen, with my own eyes, a list of guys who the club is talking to/trying to talk to, and I can state, unless I can't read of course, that J Waering wasn't on it...

let the kid talk to whom ever he wants, it will either work for him, with someone giving him some cash or he'll shoot himself in the foot and end up playing at one of the port teams for nothing which seems like what he should do anyway. and what will probably happen.

IMO even if the kid is a good player no club should be paying a supposedly injury prone 18yr old to play footy until he proves to be worth paying with solid performances ON THE FEILD!

coz by the sounds of it he'd never get paid if they went on his off feild behaviour!
