I'm with you Johno.... I thought game would be played where Unley and SWest do battle,

so no game before the A's (at Unley I assume) ?? dont think Jets would be happy about that...really limits how much the bar and canteen can return... unless they get a discount for the home final fee ???

We are very happy about it. Saves us $500 and means we dont have to worry about policing opposition sides supporters bringing there own booze into the game. Definately don't make the money back from them.

It does not make financial or practical sense to host a neutral 2s game.

We have bought the A grade game.

$500 to host + security + volunteers time + effort etc. You maybe need to return $750 before you start making a real profit.
Need to sell $1500 worth of product. So 150 opposition people @ $10 a head to 'break even'. Not going to happen.
You don't make any money selling people beer from the eskies they bring themselves and you waste your time policing it.
It does not make sense hosting the neutral 2s and even if you were able to make a slight profit, you don't have unlimited volunteers hours so why not put them to better use??
