Never let the facts get in the way of a good whinge I say

Jetters wrote:Good game, but a disappointing result at Jet Park yesterday.

Umps were fine, but when pretty interesting decision gave Scotch the match winning goal. An Unley player smothered the ball with his head, got KOed and fell onto the kicker who was awarded a F.A.D.. The Scotch player proceeded to slot it through from 40m out on the boundary line. First free kick I've ever seen against a player who wasn't conscious.

thanks for pulling me up on that one OE, jeez what an error on my behalf....

Bit of disharmony at Elizabeth with a gun player walking off the track, driving to his old club in his training gear and signing with them, wonder if they'll clear him, or will elizabeths coach gives in to his demands?

Sounds like there is a few clubs with disharmony in A4
Heard interesting story of one coach who went to a funeral wake then turned up late for training as well as being a but underdone a few weeks ago
The President was not to impressed, and seeing they are allready at loggerheads doesnt sound that his coaching career will progress much past this year

One bloke a lil bit unhappy is hardly disharmony. He is 1 outta 70 blokes that love playing and will continue playing at EFC. Whatever the issue is will get sorted and the coach will do whats best for the football club, he always does.

I understand why Unley B grade is undefeated... no disrespect to the boys having a kick...but the bloke wearing the orange and representing their club is a blatant, obvious, outrageous ignorant cheat.
I do not understand a club allowing this stuff to happen week after week and not feel some urge to change things......

I however should worry less about Unley and more about my own club

Seeing the game at scotch today against kilburn, ' the chics' played majority of the game with 19 and the rest of it with 18, however I believe scotch, for the second week in a row to dodge a bullet. Definitely a bench mark thou, solid height through out the ground. Little bit dirty behind play thou. Nearly cost them the game.

yep, played well. used his body and experience to make the most of each contest.

Fitzroy didn't take the cookies yesterday but given what's supposed to have happened to them since last season, they should be proud of yesterday's game. Took it right up to the Eagles.
The ruckman, 27 played a good game, and the bald headed guy, 11 I think, also played well.

For the Eags, I thought Ron Lee and McVicar (?) played well. Young Allen was a treat too.

The Lions boys on the sidelines were great with the banter and showed enough spirit to show the club is very united (especially considering most of them played in a very overwhelmed B grade side).

Good to catch up with Punk Rooster for a chat too ;)
