3 opposition teams? Pretty sure the standard match only comprises of 2.
Yes.
Elizabeth, Golden Grove and Salisbury West?

It does not make financial or practical sense to host a neutral 2s game.
I'm confused? Why doesn't it make sense to have 44 extra players + officials + supporters potentially spending $5 - $10 each?
maybe they are worried the undersized, east west running oval might get a bit boggy after a B grade game..
going to pop down for a peep and see what all the noise is about..
what grade is greeny playing in jetters?
We have bought the A grade game.
$500 to host + security + volunteers time + effort etc. You maybe need to return $750 before you start making a real profit.
Need to sell $1500 worth of product. So 150 opposition people @ $10 a head to 'break even'. Not going to happen.
You don't make any money selling people beer from the eskies they bring themselves and you waste your time policing it.
It does not make sense hosting the neutral 2s and even if you were able to make a slight profit, you don't have unlimited volunteers hours so why not put them to better use??
Greeny plays Cs.

If we lose do we also get to say it was a 'good shot' and we will have another go in 2013? Why would it be embarrassing and yet in your case it's not? Our 'good shot' was just better.
3 opposition teams..... why would Salisbury West not show to their own game?
And tactical changes in the 2s.... lets not take ourselves to seriously.
I'm sure we will see all the div4 posters at Jet Park on Saturday with their blue and black on getting around the Jetters!!!!

You're telling me your B grade don't take themselves seriously? Maintaining their standards in recent years doesn't come without a large amount of levity and meeting performance expectations. If you don't believe that, you're not giving your blokes enough respect.

A dry deck would also contribute to this also. The Jets better know some decent rain dances.....

Do you really think that many teams playing reserve grade, div 4 football have a solid game plan? And if they do, are they really sticking to it? But more to the point, if a team has actually had a solid game plan in the B grade all year, surely they would be close to challenging our mob. Not to mention if a game plan was in place all year, why would a coach change it or even tinker with it at this stage of the season?
I'm sorry dogwatcher but you're putting a little bit too much faith in the time constraints of B grade footballers. No doubt they can play, that's why they are playing finals footy but come on...

The B grade should be employing the tactics as the A grade
Then when players go up they are already well drilled IMO

Game plans in Div4 are basically non-existent unless you are Salisbury West, Scotch or maybe Pulteney, they surely don't exist in the Bs.
I don't rate try as hard as you can to get the ball, then kick it long as a legitimate game plan.
