no excuses mate, beaten by two better teams on the day. b's didn't play well in, thats the way it goes. i thought our a's fought the game out and never threw in the towel. interesting that mitchell was overheard saying after the game that our club lives in the past. not really, but proud of the past all the same.

two bloody good stand out performances were hoklas and mccarthy.

Fine line between arrogance and confidence. Its always fun flirting with it.
All good to be agressive toward the opponent but one of the lads said that number 16 spat at them. Not on them but at there feet, followed by a dirty look. Bit cheap. That the only thing i found a bit off. Was great fun sittin back and getting stuck into spry and that number 17.

Well done BB a credit to your guys a good win! It was only the second qtr which blew us away and our young lads will learn from that, cant switch off for 15mins of football against top sides. It was good tho our heads didn't go down and we managed to win the last half...

Rosies beat plympton hey, any news from that game?? A tough assignment vs plympton this week but have every confidence we can bounce back.

That isn't #16's style BB. He may of spat on the ground and his opponent was near him but it wouuldn't of been directed at him. And if he thought it was, it didn't get brought up with him at the time so i think your guy has taken it the wrong way.

Anyway i thought the umps weren't too bad and the game was played like it should be between the two. good rivalry going on with plenty of passion from the sidelines. i copped it all day and you just have to laugh. some of the things ppl come out with to try put u off your game... priceless, especially some of mitchell's finest

I was just reporting on what the particular lad said after the game. Considering the heat of the contest, he might have taken it the wrong way. No harm done i spose. Doesnt change my view regarding spry. Tool of the highest order. We enjoy giving it to him, but it is all in the fun in the name of rivalry.

I agree that the umpring wasnt to bad. No glaringly obvious free kicks come to mind. The rivalry between the two sides is excellent and we had our fare share of brews that night to celebrate knocking you guys off in the way that we did. Look forward to doing it again, hopefully by more come the last round.

Might have been me watching from the sides but it genuinley looked like the players from both sides were hanging for a ball up or even better the siren in nearly every contested ball in that last quarter. Very tired bodies.

Things are looking pretty interesting at the half way stage. 6 teams vying for 5 positions, it would appear that every game is vital from here on in, Golden Grove would be probably the only sure thing at this stage, unless they peak too early.

Elizabeth could be the danger game for a lot of teams, most would pencil in a win against them, but they can cause some upsets on their day.

Na, sorry mate, I'd assume that Rosies hit them hard and at home, it's amazing how teams can lift when they lose their star player, I guess everyone else tries to fill the void. Rosies could be the sleeping giants at this stage.

i suppose now at the half way mark it is prediction time. Who will make the GF, and who will get relegated back to Div 6.

my GF is Greenacres and Golden Grove, my relegation is Central United and Ingle Farm.

I think Greenies peaked too early, Blackfriars won narrowly against Rosies and Smithfield at home, I think they'll both be different results on the return matches. I think whoever can find some momentum going into the finals between Rosies and Smithfield will be the other team to watch.

Golden Grove thoroughly deserve the favourites tag at the moment.

Pretty good pick up for Olympic Dam than, they where premiership favourites at the start of the season, now should have it easy.

How will Rosewater go without him?

Are Greenies back on or are Kenilworth just shite?

Good to see the great Gojko BOG with 5 sausage rolls, must have been kicking over DR's head. I would too.

This Forthy bloke's back must not be as bad as I heard, 12 goals is another good return
