Welcome to the forum Feverman.......
I will complain about umpires win, lose or draw when they are blatantly terrible (I won't go as far to say "cheats"). I would like to hear what the PHOS players/supporters thought of it because I would even go as far to say that they themselves would admit we got a rough deal. Further to that the Payneham guys also agreed the umpiring was awful. Is that ok with you???????
The umpires are no more or less pedantic than they have been for the last couple of years. The free kick of the day seemed to be head high and they paid it alot and both ways.
I am not certain you guys do yourselves any favours. Yes the captain can talk to the umpires but there is a way of doing it.
If you keep kicking the dog one day it will turn around and bite.

Umpires will pay free kicks against you if you abuse them all day. I was amazed at the number of 25's paid early but then seeing the display at half time when they were walking off I could see why. The umps were tough on high tackles on both sides. The difference was you guys complained and then the umps gave us a 25. I think you guys will be around the mark, Wilson very dangerous in the forward 50 and Shaun Gatto gets plenty of the ball. Will you be playing this week Booze after sustaining a broken arm in the last 1/4?

Yeah I agree to some extent however we cop in week in week out and the boys have had enough. You have to admit your blokes got a good run from the first bounce?
I think you guys will be right there too. PNU will be interesting. They play an in and under style of play with a lot of quick handball from inside. Lots of handball and run. You guys are quite skilful and bring the ball back into the middle really well. blokes seem to work hard for eachother and create space, particularly around centre half forward and deeper.

They were dominant in the 1st half then slacked off in the 3rd to go behind.
Back to basics in the 4th and won
I'm nicknaming Jolly - the Big Dont Argue
Best players for PHOS - Fulwood - BOG by a mile, then Rowe

Interesting you gave it to the young feller (yes he is young
still under 23) I would have given it to Marty Wilson (2) kept us in it club rewarded Josh Martin (first game had an impact).
