 Nice one sobcu. It what world aren't the units one of the two flag favourites?!?!?

Since losing to TTG early in the year, they have beaten eight sides in a row. They are the form side of the competition and if they win this week against TTG, they will have won nine straight, during which, they would have beaten every team. If this happens, they will be the clear favourite for the Div7 flag in 2010.

This is their past 8 weeks
Angle Vale 12.13 85 lost to Central United 16.16 112
Central United 12.16 88 defeated Athelstone 11.6 72
Glenunga 10.12 72 lost to Central United 16.16 112
Mawson Lakes 6.4 40 lost to Central United 13.12 90
Central United 13.15 93 defeated Adelaide University 4.7 31
Central United 16.19 115 defeated Modbury 8.10 58
Sacred Heart OC 6.14 50 lost to Central United 10.17 77
Central United 29.17 191 defeated Flinders University 6.3 39[/quote]

I think Central United have a good run with injuries until the last couple of weeks, they have received 4 or 5 injuries in the last 2 weeks.

yeah there is one of 2 reasons i didnt put us top and one is because im from there.. the other is what demon said we have a got a few players that can be pretty handy out due to injuries.. i know we have me and one of our other very good defenders out maybe for the year then there is a few that may come back in this week or maybe the next.. im sure we probably have enough depth in the club to replace a few players.. so i guess its just a matter of time really

Seeing as we now got premiership odds I've seen people talking on other threads about early medal favourites, so who do people reckon could be a chance to take it?

I think from us O'gorman or Kennett yet again will be up there. Uncle from Gullies always polls well. Uni & Central United to me have too much of an even spread of good players this season. Grossmann from Raggies would have to catch the umpires eye but may not have played enough games. My smoky is Adam Glenn from SHOC, this bloke plays everywhere and dominates has to catch the umps eyes.

What about Chad Bourke from Glenunga! Has he won a medal before in the higher grade?

Oops, I nearly forgot the div 7 tips.

Please note punters that I am now 6 behind the pace after being 1 ahead at the break.

6 behind = Mozzies 5 losses and 1 win which I didn't tip :?
