Mitchell Park don't have height, fitness or even that much talent (sorry boys!) but they do have plenty of ticker and after years upon years of heartache and heavy losses - a burning desire to achieve.

Reckon most of the squad are fitter than the runner 8)

True that! hahaha.

Although I did hear him getting quite a few positive comments from the crowd saying how fit he was looking. Must be the 4,598 messages he has to run each Saturday.

You can hardly blame the runner when the messages are as clear as - "Move Kelsall to the square, then get Poss to push up, wait for the ball to clear and then get Hibbo off".

Problem being there are two Kelsalls that play in similar positions, Poss was playing at CHF and I am assuming the runner thought you meant the centre square and Hibbo, well, the coach changed it when the runner was half way out to Shillo!

But yeah, I think the runner has had better days, had about a 50% hit rate in the first quarter! hahaha! I have been told he is practising his listening comprehension skills with the missus with not much success.

:P

Not really LM, there was a bit of argy bargy towards the end of the B Grade and at 3/4 time of the A's. I think a couple of Smithfield chaps might have overreacted to what was a bit of innocuous eye-to-eye forehead kissing.

But on the whole it was a really good day and our blokes said the Smithfield lads were a pleasure to play footy with.

You don't rate TTG? I think they're the clear second favourite.

 Second to who?? My mail is Henley didn't have a bench after quarter time and finished with 3 injured blokes on the field when they out ran TTG on the weekend. Is my mail wrong?

Big game this week at Petaringa Oval between local rivals Modbury and Tea Tree Gully. All 4 grades playing at the same venue, Div2 2R 7 and 7R. Congratulations to Ronnie Wade who will play his 300th game for Modbury. Here's hoping for a closer game from both the C's and D's, especially for a club legends milestone!

Yep Modnog, Ronnie is a fantastic club man and thoroughly deserves to reach this milestone. Ronnie's allways willing to help out and you will usually find him up the club smiling and Extra Dry in hand. Well done Rockin Ronnie

As long as the weather God's are kind it will be a fantastic day.... Great rivalry between the two clubs which is enhanced even more by the fact almost everyone has a beer together off the field too!! Well done to both clubs for organising this twice a year!! Is a unique opportunity for the C's and D's to watch/support the A's and B's and vice versa!!!

And congratulations to Dan Noske who is making his coaching debut in the C's for TTG.

Hopefully he makes a better coach than Michael Jordan impersonator.
