Stokes, Jolly, T White, Wilson, Lowe, Parker.....?

The way Stokes started the year 100 was on the cards, he's been found out after 2 games & struggled the last couple of weeks with the close attention. What doesn't help his cause is his attitude to training etc thats probably another reason for him struggling ( not training ) it wouldn't surprise me if he goes walkabouts like alot of his cousins do.
White proved he's a consistant player & Athelstone arn't the worst side in the comp, on their day they are capable of anything so White will be 1 of 2 players to take out the goalkicking, the other is Wilson, while Eastern Pk keep kicking the big scores they have each week Wilson will be dominant, his only worry would be his sides lack of depth, any big injuries to the side may cost them on the scoreboard which will cost Wilson with inside 50 chances.
Thats only my opinion anyway.

Wilson might go walkabout like Stokes.

Maybe......but if he doesn't he'll be a big chance - saw him against PHOSC a couple of weeks ago and he is all class. Always looks like he's going to do something when the ball's in the area.

Hey there tinginthewater, mate what a stupid stereotype comment regarding Wilson...he is one of the most likeable and respected footballers at EP, given his short time there. He will continue to carve up this competition and leave egg on faces on people who make stupid comments like yours, without any substance.

dont wanna get abusive but i agree..."walk about". im sure it wasnt meant to come across the way it did but posting a stereo-typical statement like that on a footy forum is not really a clever thing to do.im very good mates with adrian wilsons cousin and have met and done media coverage of adrian himself.they are classy people as well as being intellegent and articulate.if adrian made a commitment to E.P footy club in 09 then you bet your last dollar he will be there to cause havoc for oppositions until the last kick of the last game.he has talent and humility to match and doesnt deserve to have his character/commitment questioned.

I am having a dig at the Bloke who said Stokes might go "walkabout". I have heard this sort of talk from alot of people over the years, and inevitably its aimed at the Aboriginal blokes playing footy. I find it to be frustrating and racist.

I know some great aboriginal people & i respect them & their culture.

NM, I'm with you on this one. It seems to me that it happens quite frequently, that's not being at all racist or biggotted, just factual.

If you respect the Aboriginal community and their culture you would not make a specific dig regarding them. You say you know a lot of indigenous players that have "jumped ship and gone walk abouts"... how bout the caucasion players that have done the same... no mention?

Massive generalisation boys.

Have seen many white lads do the exact same thing. Players going missing from football clubs is a question of comittment, not the colour of their skin. We have internet now people, it not the 1920's.
