Interesting to note that Gaza's best player didn't even play in Ricky Butler.

Was informed by a SHOC supporter that it was a good game, SHOC's had more of the pill but couldn't shake the Saints who had a bit too much class in the end and got over the line. Similar result to last weeks Goodwood v Modbury game. King hurt his knee and was taken away in an ambulance. Big blow if he is out long term.

They've still got a couple more that are just as big and good and probably some "up the sleeve" to take his place.

He dislocated his knee cap playing indoor soccer before the trial games. just started running again. His brother also dislocated his knee cap in the trial v GG but did alot more damage and is out for the year. Matt should be 3-4 weeks away

Geez no luck for the Neve boys. Was Todd planning on playing higher this year?

Now Moz, hold back until you know the real story,a man can only do so much! I'm not the only pidgeon in the roost there you know. A lot of your mates are back there, remember the new regime, is this type of thing not in their job specs? Don't sit back and remain an "armchair critic", get involved.
There is an article on Chris in this weeks Amateur Footy budget thanks to Footychick and moi. There was also to be something similar on Grassroots but I think the producer/editor of that show has waved his wand has said "no longer required", hence the interview and photos will not go ahead.

Id back Gepps in this week.... Goodwood are arrogant and without King will struggle as they didnt have much in the reserves.

Gepps are starting now to find the good form that was expected of them by so many early in the year, with numerous changes to their side it can take a few games to get the balance & i think they are right on target now so i expect them to beat Goodwood on saturday even though its at Goodwood.
Goodwoods hiding they copped against Henley a few weeks ago has left the Saints a little fragile & i believe they have lost that ability to step it up a gear when they are challenged & also finish sides off like they used to when they get their noses in front. Goody's over the years have built up a healthy arrogance against the opposition, they have displayed their dominance in all aspects of the game but are now finding sides are catching up to them, i still expect them to be a very competitive side & right up there come finals time but that arrogance is starting to turn into cockyness which could be their downfull.

goodwood have played with arrogance for the last 5 years, and look what they have achieved. not sure how you think it can be their downfall if it's what has actually made them possibly the best amateur team of all time. now while i am not a fan of goodwood (going back to when i played against them), what i have said here is the truth. and for you ignorant modbury supporters who think that you are anywhere near goodwood, or that you think you deserved to win the game, without even seeing the game, i would say that you need to be taught a lesson. so in saying that i hope goodwood show modbury a true welcome to div 1 and absolutely destroy them, and show them that modbury are playing far above themselves at the moment.

Ace , i apologise to you. should not hold an individual responsible for the lack of action by a club. quick ring around of regular game goers revealed that no one knew about C.C's milestone[ and that included a couple who were there thursday night ] in a div. that increasingly relies on 'imports' to have a 'homegrown' captain to reach 200 games deserves to be given a bit more fanfare . and he did play very well on the day. well done Chris
