Seaton got up by about 8 points. Good match, bad kicking early by the Rams made it tough going, had 1 goal 10 points at one stage
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

looks like the Chics are paying the price for getting the SAAFL out of the poo just because a chickensh*t outfit didn't have the guts or drive to go up a div. [and i hope that outfit continues its downward trend ]. good luck to KFC for the future

How did B. Ellis go for Uni today?
I bet he played as close to Hackney Rd as he could!

I am having a dig at the Bloke who said Stokes might go "walkabout". I have heard this sort of talk from alot of people over the years, and inevitably its aimed at the Aboriginal blokes playing footy. I find it to be frustrating and racist.

Must admitt, i've played with Stokes and he's not the best trainer and as the season goes on will only get worse. The amount of "calf" problems he had, he would train for 5 minutes and then get changed. It's been said a million times, enormous potential but just doesn't have the work ethic or drive to be better. Disappointing really.

Agreed however Kilburn knew they didnt have the cattle for div 2 yet. It was a work in progress when occa came back and they recruited for the divvy they were in (4 then 3) losing players doesnt help either but personally i think as a club Kiburn should not have tried to rush their way up the ranks, and built a strong foundation on a core squad and gone about it the long way.

Great effort by Seaton beating Uni at Uni, i honestly gave them no chance & i'm glad they proved me wrong.
Where to for Uni, struggling against Flinders Pk & now beaten by a young Seaton side.
Could be a longer year than expected for the blacks.
Got me f..... how they smashed Broadview, maybe Broadview fielded their B grade side!

I hope they can get up but i think they'll lose by 5-8 goals.

No Faith NM?

Interesting to follow Uni's results against a few of the harder sides like Seaton. From last years games against them they played a good running game, but in a physical encounter they may tend to struggle a bit more. Do they still manage to get a LIfe Member umpiring their A grade games?

Payneham off to a flyer! Good to see. They seem to have a lot of players who are quite loyal to the club - a particularly good players culture which appears to be bringing them success on the field. The only thing I would question is their Depth, which PHOS have in bucketloads.

Looks like there might be a bit of a scrap between flinders and Pembroke for relegation.

Great game between us and PHOS yesterday. Down to the last kick of the day.
Don't know what to make of Uni. Smashed us, but struggled against Flinders Park who we held goal less until the last qtr on Anzac Day then beaten by Seaton who we ran over the top last week.

Going to be an open race for the flag. PHOS definately have the depth in their A&B's. Payneham & Eastern Park will also be a round the mark with Uni, Seaton & Athelstone fighting it out for possibly the fifth spot. But then again I could be wrong.

Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Geez, if ya wanna talk about paynehams depth being an issue, you should probably do a bit more research i reckon. Payneham had 4 1st choice players out against phos, and got a couplke of crucial injuries on the day and still won. on the weekend there were 6 1st choice players out and they still flogged a side. must have a fair bit of depth one would think.

Not having a crack but always find these sorts of comments interesting. It happens on every board on here when a club mentions ther own injuries or outs or whatever but seem to think that the opposition were at full strength. But must admit Paynehams depth is a vast improvement on what it has been

I was looking at their list the other day.

In all my years I have never seen so much depth at that club. Ever.

Spot on, although in saying that will be a bit sad to see Red Dog depart in the next few weeks... I wonder if there is a link between his departure and the first sighting of Todd Patfull watching from the sidelines yesterday? I guess time will tell.

Great win by Eastern Park on Saturday. Athelstone are a good side up there and we were down by five goals at one point. great character shown once again by the boys....very proud.

Think PNU are definately the team to beat. We have Kilburn, Flinders and Seaton all at home over the next three weeks so if we play at out best could be in a good position after than....Great that we played the top four or five sides in the first rounds. Great test for us. Its good to be a Demon at the moment.

Providing you don't get any injuries to key players booza i can see you winning all 3 of them at home & gain some much needed percentage.

boozehound did you catch on of the b grade game? The Eastern Park umpire was terrible, called a spectator a wanker telling runners and player to f*** off as a parent with a child at the game it was a disgrace!!!

Happy To stand corrected on PNU, but I would have thought a loss to Pembrokes B grade - a weaker side - would have suggested their depth was not that great.

They're B grade last year weren't too flash either.

Mclean loss will hurt. He carved us up twice last year. Good player and Sh!tloads of experience.

Saw Ackland played B's on the weekend...Chance to return to the ones this week?
