Q. wrote:I don't think a C-Grade of a Div 1 club has ever played finals in D6.

So the statement "The Div 4R premier would be very competitive in Div 6" is massive stretch of the imagination.

Did Adelaide Uni or Henley ever get close 6-7 years ago?

Adel uni finished bottom of div 6 in 2007. Not sure if they have been back since then.

They were in D6 in 2013, so were TTG for 2 x 40 goal hidings

I rekon Henley finished 6th in about 2010 or 2011 and if they'd kept their best side together the whole year I rekon they would've made it but as with C grade sides they're so dependent on the A and B sides having a good run with injury.

I have a feeling they were winless in 07 in div 6. They never copped a 40 goal belting. If they did win a game it would have been against Mitchell Park or Houghton. I don't remember who went down with them

Unless a Div 4R premier is much better than a C1 side, which they are.

So Salisbury's B Grade from last year would beat Goodwood Saints C Grade from last year easily? I'm not sure there is much in that one.

I think they prefer the term "rebuilding"

Same thing.
Shit until they get better.
A grade sides in Div 7 I'm referring too.

Let's change the subject and get back to 2016, the game and clubs have changed.

To end this debate, MP played TTG in the Div 7 grand final in 2012. Both clubs went up to Div 6 in 2013. TTG lost a lot of quality C grade players in the off season, who frankly were X A grade guns who had decided to hang up the boots forever. They notified the league that they were in strife at the start of 2013 but were urged to comply with the promotion/relegation system. They lost their First game by 40 odd to CLG and MP beat them by 30 odd in round 2, that's goals,. Game over, they went back to C div and 1 team. I have massive respect for TTG, they complied but in the end sanity prevailed.

I'm making my C1 debut Saturday so I'll have an assessment after that to comment on.

Exactly. They are winning by a lot too. PAC C grade would be very competitive in Div 6

It must be pointed out here that the gap between 6 and 7 is the length of south road.

div 6 agraders are highly tuned semi professional paid athletes :D

div 4 reserves are casual kick n catch loyalists making up numbers in a reserve side whos agrade side is about the 30th to 40th best agrade side in the saafl. if they were capable of beating the semi professional paid footballers of div 6, these particular men wouldnt be stuck playing div 4 reserves in the first place :D

Yep definitely. Our C grade played C1 when our Bs were in Div3R/Div4R and each side finished about 3rd or 4th in their grade
