I am having a dig at the Bloke who said Stokes might go "walkabout". I have heard this sort of talk from alot of people over the years, and inevitably its aimed at the Aboriginal blokes playing footy. I find it to be frustrating and racist.

Must admitt, i've played with Stokes and he's not the best trainer and as the season goes on will only get worse. The amount of "calf" problems he had, he would train for 5 minutes and then get changed. It's been said a million times, enormous potential but just doesn't have the work ethic or drive to be better. Disappointing really.

he still kicks the goals though!!!

Pembrokes 2's have had some good results I don't think they are that bad.

They're B grade last year weren't too flash either.

Mclean loss will hurt. He carved us up twice last year. Good player and Sh!tloads of experience.

Saw Ackland played B's on the weekend...Chance to return to the ones this week?

They are 4-1 with wins over Athelstone, Seaton, Eastern Park and PNU and a loss to Flinders Park- maybe they are a bit better than you suggest. Where you are right is the threat of injuries in the winter to teams like PNU, Eastern Park, Broadview and Athelstone, whose Bs are all struggling

Sorry Jimmy - just to clarify - I meant PNU's B grade weren't too flash.

And it appears i have underrated Pembrokes B grade.

Like any side, Injuries to key players will hurt PNU, but I don't think they have the depth to replace their first choice 21 as well as do and maintain their current form.

Hope I'm wrong - they're a good club.

He's missed the entire pre-season and the first 3 games with injury so I'd suggest he's still a couple weeks away... has looked a long way from his best so far, although the kids a freak so who knows.

Where to for Uni, struggling against Flinders Pk & now beaten by a young Seaton side.
Could be a longer year than expected for the blacks.
Got me f..... how they smashed Broadview, maybe Broadview fielded their B grade side!

uni are a very young and relatively new side - will be inconsistent and if not all players firing in this division any team (perhaps aside from kilburn - and that's only on results/reputation) seem capable of pushing other sides. apparently seaton had a plan stuck to it very well and, as a result, won.
i'm sure, however that given time and the ability to have their best side out on the park the blacks will be around the place.

ok, so as i stated before. Payneham at the moment do have a large number of players out (6 on the weekend to be exact). Their depth is good enough so that they can cover those losses at the moment. so this is also the reason the b grade may be struggling at the moment, even though they are still travelling ok. i know other teams do have injuries at the moment too, but with Payneham being currently undefeated with these outs, shows that there is plenty of depth and it's not an issue for them.

Since when have they resorted to being called Payneham again? (and not just you Stimpy but a lot of others too)

The club is called Payneham-Norwood Union or PNU for short - and to leave out the NU part doesn't sound right, especially seeing as the club has gone the NU way of things over the last couple of years.

FC, with respect, clearly jsut a whinge for the sake of having a whinge. Its like me complaining about people leaving West lakes off the end of SMOSH west lakes. EVeryone knows who we're talking about and what the club is called, so stop being so picky :P
