Heard after the game that Paralowie stacked there team and had 6 A grade players from there premiership last season so all in all a very good win for the gullies.

Any word on Golden Grove losing to Heccies?

Are you serious?. Fitzy our full back from last year is playing C grade this season and has played every c grade game so far. Shannon Ghelken played his first game for the season coming back from a injury. Love to know who the others were!. Sorry we brought Shannon back thru the C grade

Only going by what i was told mate. Anyway it was a good win considering all TTG teams have always struggled down there.

Well how bout you listen to someone who is at the club in a playing role and was involved in last season,s premiership. Maybe look at the league website and go thru the lists and show me these players

Did they lose? Did captain courageous (Elsworthy) play?

I'd understand if you did mate because he often gets the man boobs out for a how to impress the lads.... thus his nickname of 'titties'. Nah he is going well and just enjoying being back on the park and co-captain of our D grade.

Yess azza, he kicked 8 in his first game, 5 in his second and then I believe he missed last week. Possibly injured but I couldn't confirm that... But definitly a handy asset in the D's and showing at 44 or whatever he is, that he can still have a good influence on the game.

 I'll investigate and get my spies onto it. The grass in the square did look a bit worn so I figure someone has done a few 'laps' of it...

Very scrappy game out at Petaringa today. GG kicked with the wind in the first quarter and if they kicked straight should've been a lot further in front. TTG really came to play after half time and in the end was a very good win after trailing at 3 quarter time by a couple of goals.

Yeah Mr B I know a few of the lads in the team were pretty disappointed to lose that one... A few guys still to come back in so teh contests should be close for the rest of the year. Sounds like the teams are fairly evenly matched ?

Yeah they are fairly evenly matched. It's a strange one as over the last few years TTG have always won away to GG and GG have either won or really pushed TTG at Petaringa. I was quite surprised not to see more young runners in the GG team though. Fairly different team to there C5 team last year. Obviously most of them would be playing in C4 now.

Few surprising results of late though with Heccies beating GG but then Heccies getting thumped by Paralowie.

Yeah that happened last year. You beat us easily at home early in the year and we sneaked one back late in the year in the mud at your place and then in the final...from what I remember... ;)

Basically the C5's from last year are all playing in the C4 side or the Div 4 ressies so the side in C5 is totally new and consists of alot of guys returning to the club after a few years off to play under the coach who has also returned after a few years off.

Good win for TTG on the weekend. I didn't get to see the game as i was down at SHOC's watching the A's but looks as though they could thumped Ingle farm by more if they had kicked straight.
