notice that the clearance for stengle to torrens valley was denied. is he staying with gepps cross or are they just playing hard ball. will be a major loss for gepps.

Gepps Cross do NOT clear contracted players! End of story.

so they would rather make players play for them who dont want to be there.... doesnt sound like a way to have a succesfull year

Speaking with some Henley boys today at work. Joel Cullen going to Darwin was the word and both Turner's gone along with Pederson to WA with work and Frewen retired, with "Boofa" Wright also, who has been appointed as the reserves coach at the Eagles. They are hoping that a few Eagles players cut from the Eagles reserves, might be heading down to Shark land

Hicks, Daveron and Symons from the Eagles are some big ins, along with Seamus Mcdonnell who returns, but don't expect Symons until mid year with a few injuries. Also, they were talking about a 6.8 ruckman from Weribee, who is here working on the South Road extension who will be playing. Big losses will be Cullen and Pederson though who are guns at CHF and in the ruck. Two of the best big men in the game and big losses for any club.

Will be interesting to see how the new ruckman will go; nothing special from what I've heard

At 6.8 - I am guessing he will be a handful lutz for all clubs. There is nobody else that size at any other club that I have seen, or very rare of that size. Guys like that just don't turn up on your doorstep every day and just keep getting bigger all day. Would sooner have a guy that size on my side than playing against me, no matter what, as he will prove a few problems for opposition players and coaches.

Maks would be around the mark, but as said these guys Hellboy just do not arrive on a club's doorsteps all that often

If you are talking about Cain Ackland he has signed at Virginia apparently. I did hear he was going out to train with Broadies though. Also I hear they signed a bloke from a country league only to change his mind as the club he was leaving offered him $800 a game.

Jon Flo hasnt retired all together from football but he has retired from re-growing hair on his dome. His younger brother Adam and his other younger brother who looks older, Dave both played in the Div 7 premiership for the SHOCs. I wouldnt be suprised if they were all running around together this year for the SHOC C Grade. I think its still Div 7 as well as they didnt go up  To complete the quartet of Flos Mark will probably be the over qualified water boy.

From what i hear, there wont be any shortage of talented youngsters running around for SHOCs in possibly the SAAFLs ugliest guernsey  Mind you there are a few shockers out there (no pun intended) :)

Whisper is that Ackland has signed with us, can't confirm though, as for the other player mentioned, you are spot on.
