With Elizabeth playing Kilburn, Pulteney hosting Gepps Cross and West Croydon / Blackfriars squaring off, if Woody South win, they could potentially go from 9th to 6th!

Eastern Park win would equal them on wins with Woody Sth and keep them in touch with the group ahead, but a loss and they fall 2 wins behind the rest with 9 games remaining.

Have Eastern Park ever been in D6?

97. Beat Burnside/Kensington in a bloodbath prelim by 1 point and won the GF against Central United by 2 points from memory.

Yeah definitely beat CU by 2 points.

That was the infamous flooding of the clubrooms that Friday night before the GF.

The club trainers rocked up the Saturday morning to collect some gear to take to the GF to find a couple of garden hoses under the doors frames and turned on full. Clubrooms completely soaked.

Never was discovered who did it but there was obvious suspicions.

Doesnt sound like 'that' EP side to be involved in a bloodbath ;)

Chaos at CLG v Trinity in the Ressies. CLG kick a goal with a minute to go from the goal line. Trinity goal umpire calls it a point above the knee! Video footage says otherwise. Match drawn

Can CLG take it up with the league for a video review of the decision?

It’s the same guy they’ve always had.

He was asked to be replaced for A grade but no one else would do it, so he was allowed to continue

On another note the West Croydon goal umpire was extremely fair yesterday in a tight time game on some close calls with the pressure on from the crowd.

I dunno how a club can let someone who is a known cheat and has ethics so far down the toilet continue an a position of responsibility and authority such as goal umpiring.

Having witnessed this guy myself and having seen his incredible, athletic positioning to adjudicate decisions, I believe that your statement could be dripping in satire.

Yes there is and a clear goal - It came off his foot  . It was mentioned on here over the last couple years that he was no longer doing it, however that’s obviously changed. Absolutely stunned this bloke is still in that role.

Imagine being only 2 wins off 4th spot.. but also two wins off bottom.

What a ridiculously close competition! Woody South, Pulteney and Blackfriars would be thankful for the belting Kilburn gave Elizabeth Sat!

Be interesting to see what impact Eastern Park have in the 2nd half of the season, and if they can climb themselves off the bottom.
