I believe his brother has been the subject of an inquiry/investigation this week as result of a "behind the play" incident last weekend.
Was required to attend on Wednesday but missed the appointment and all of a sudden he has gone into retirement, now that's an interesting scenario!

I think you might find he'll move on to a club in the Hills, there has been some action in that area already.
Gepps Cross people will be laughing their t^ts off about this if it happens, another one that rates himself much higher than any club. And another club shirt for the already bulging wardrobe of them.

Yeah sorry Ace i thought it was another Star Recruit who may also not be so happy playing Bs

Lads, got the mail that this guy has been selected to play B grade again this week and has decided he will play. I wonder why the sudden change of heart and also the change in his work commitments, one week he can't possibly play in the early game, the next week he can. I wonder why that might be, possibly because the Hills team didn't want him or what?

Nice try Ace, close but no cigar! lol

Yes, Ben Noske is playing A Grade again and is starting to find some good form.

Dan is required to front an investigation into a striking charge. Was definitely not behind the play, and there was nothing malicious to it. Dan is one of the nicest blokes you could meet on and off the field.

Correct, he didn't rock up to the tribunal but he will be this week. He was called out to a job at work. No excuse, but there was definitely nothing 'interesting' about it. And as for going into retirement, that is correct. He has severe muscle damage to one shoulder which happened the week after (before the date of the tribunal), and has just come back from a shoulder reconstruction on his other shoulder. Not worth going on with his injuries. Has nothing to do with the investigation, but doesn't suprise me that you would try and make a story out of it!

He will front the investigation this week and regardless of the finding he will not be playing again. End of story.

Ah The Hound you know i have been busy buying a new house and haven't been at work ;) The wheels are far from fallen off a few losses against good teams and a bad loss to Gaza

The hawks will look to put in a strong showing at the hawks nest tomorrow.... We have a good rivalry against SHOC so should be a good encounter in both A and B grade

Still busy looking in the mirror in his dress, wig & make up from miss modbury night last week.

No make up on me.... Miss Modbury is later in the season KIR and is always a good, entertaining and mildly disturbing night ;)

Have to agree with Big Daddy here. Daniel Noske is one of the nicest lads you would meet and wouldn't be too much wrong with what he did.

As for the game between my two former clubs....have had some great times and great friends at both clubs and love both clubs dearly.

Scott Klenner v Pitt should be a cracker, Golding v Clonan also, very tough to pick.

Hope its a blinder and very close. Gullies are very tough to beat at home generally but are coming off a heavy week on the track. I'm thinking Gepps may just get over the line.

Goodluck both sides, Ace/Big Daddy send my best to all the boys (that are still there).

Not trying to make a story out of it fella, just writing what I was told.

So the Gaza guy comes out of it with a severely damaged eye socket, several people saw it happen but none of the 6 umpires did, and it was in the course of play,is that what your telling me?
If it is, that's quite different to the story from Gaza, but I guess that doesn't surprise me either.

Well done to the TTG boys, once again they had the 'wood' over us. Gepps were extremely disappointing and outplayed in most positions.

i wonder why salisbury north dont pick some of their B graders, Young Hood is second in the league in goals, salisbury north need goal kickers. and i dont Know how number 8 for them gets a game, he always wants to fight and talk back to umpires, and just makes a lot of mistakes

Does this investigation involve Gaza supplying video evidence, if so i hope they have supplied the whole video and not just what they want seen so the investigators can review everything leading up to the incident and not just the hit. Was not at the game have not heard about the incident but was involved 2 years ago when Mitcham supplied an edited package to the league against Ingle Farm which did not show any of the provocation or striking that led to the incidents highlighted, if so maybe lighter penalty's or even charges against Mitcham players may have resulted. The league should only accept full games or nothing.
Having known Dan and played along side him at Ingle Farm i've got no doubt there would be some sort of provocation involved.

The league will only accept full videos of games if clubs want charges to be brought via video evidence.
This rule was brought last year.

Not the prettiest game today Ace. Both teams came to play and it was great to see a game played out over 4 quarters. Look forward to the return bout later on in the year as every TTG v Gepps game is a good contest. All credit to both teams on a well fought out game.

Great win for the gullies yesterday. Really came to play and now need to back it up against goody saints in a fortnight. Hopefully Pitty's hamstring isn't to bad. Really dissapointing to see young Cam Thompson do his shoulder. He has had no luck with injuries.

Yep, probably should have won by more. I missed the 1st quarter and thought Gepps, even though TTG outplayed them, still had a chance in the last quarter to win, but made too many mistakes with both decisions and skill errors and the Gullies took every advantage of them.
