This Div 4 thread cracks me up !! It's a fair dinkum looney bin isn't it !!! The count should be up to about 12,395,650 posts, 85 suspensions, 4 babies, 7 FC mental breakdowns and 15,000 libelous comments by the end of the year !!! Roll on 09.... ;)

Fisty u may have some insight into this... is it true that mr d leonard is on a hectic weight loss regime to shed much of his excess baggage in an attempt to suit up in the thunders A grade this year. And what does this rumoured weight loss regime entail???

i can answer this one for you steve yes it is true, after a good season in the B's damien is trying to shed a couple of kgs to try and push for an A grade guernsey,
not 100% sure on his regime but last night i know for a fact he was down at the wee willies tavern with lipson and a few other unnamed players drinking pure blonde, for use that dont know pure blonde is a low carb beer which is a great start for damien.

but another thing that didnt cross my mind till i typed this post, seems that lipson was indulging in a beverage or 2 with the portland boys last night, am i reading to far in to this or is there something on the horizon

Hinsley to Districts ? When did that happen ?[/quote]

Hinsley apparently has told North Haven that he wont be out there next year and was seen training at Districts.

Would he get a gig in the one's? He would be close but not a certainty IMO.

if Hinsley applied himself he wouldn't have a problem getting a regular 'A' grade game...........the boy can play.

your right he can play and does lack the application, i wouldnt have thought he would be a regular but would be touch and go, i think your forgetting the step up from div 4 to div 1 is pretty bloody big and he definatly didnt stand out in div 4

Hmmm, im not so sure he would get an A grade gig at Districts.

Depends on how much he will improve over the off-season. He wouldn't on last years performances. Big step up to D1.

I'm not forgetting the step up...............I think I would know as I did it.
At the end of the day there is a gap between Div 1 and 4 but not as big as everyone likes to think.
