I thought he stepped on it and it cut into his foot, hence his inability to play, hence their loss.

Could very well be wrong.

I am contemplating using our plotter at work to print out a giant picture of a champagne glass with "HEY ARREN! .... BOO!" words above it and stick it to a piece of plywood, then run around behind the goals (there is lot of room at CLG) whenever he is lining up for a shot.

I am looking forward to standing on the mark (or the sidelines) and heckling your forwards with calls of excessive player payments, stepped on champagne glasses, finals failures and underhanded poaching tactics.

Yeah Lukey was intending on not playing this year. He played a game of C's and really enjoyed it, then played B's and got some fitness to the point that the A grade coach thought he could provide some value. I think even he would admit to being surprised how quickly he has snapped back after not attending a single pre season session.

The other thing is sadly Brian McDonnell, Nat and Luke's father, passed away right before the start of the season. I think Luke realised that having the support of friends and family through the extended network of the footy club during a tough time was important for him, and perhaps gave him an outlet.

We forget these things sometimes, football clubs are more than just a medium to kick some cow hide between wood posts every Saturday.

There is nothing worse than trying to get credibility into a radio show that talks absolute sh*t!
To have someone say that Rosewater isnt a happy place and things are not going well, couldnt be further from the truth and maybe Hosie should educate his people on the show in how to deal with facts. we have one person that has demanded he play 1 spot. thats it. Hopefully will be fixed soon if not we move on. Maybe the hosts of the show should do a bit more homework before blirting absolute bullsh*t!

WOW! Rosewater really seems like a happy place at the present....NOT. I have no doubt that the player in question will enjoy his time at the Southern Eagles a whole lot more than at the Doggies ;)

I think it shows a position of strength and solidarity at the Kennel that the club hasnt bowed to the demands of a star player, and sticking to there guns by making the point that no individual is bigger than the club. If Shaun wants to pursue his opportunities elsewhere, so be it, thats his call, I wish him the best. But for people to say disharmony amongst the club is ludicrous, ive never been involved in a club thats so tight knit and the feeling around the place is as good as it can be..

I wouldnt Morell as good as Harvey already is he loves the attention and the more crap he cops i swear the better he plays. With him firing they are my pick to edge out Rosewater for the flag.
