Chad in best for Kilburn again this week, looks like he is having a good year. I know Chad quite well and I can tell you that he wasnt even keen to play football at all this year or last. He moved to the south east a few years back and played some good footy down there. Not sure how you can say he has found it hard? I just think that some people dont actually think that playing football at an amateur level is the be all and end all in life.

Was south gambier he played for I think, watched em win the GF down there when I stayed at my dads from memory, good to see him havin another good game, and with the result the finals race Tightens up even more

Scotch won easy but geeze i though my association umpires were bad, these umpires were a joke, half the time they were that old they were standing next to each other at one end of the ground and were 80 metres off the play with no idea what to blow. I watched fitzroy players punch and scrag players off the ball all day and one bloke (number 1) for fitzroy throw probably atleast four or five punches during the game. In the end I think he got a yellow but hardly worth the umpires trouble as the damage had already been done. I asked one of the blokes from scotch if it is normally like this in div 4 and he said yeah unfortunatly some teams play like this each week? is it normally like this what are other peoples thoughts? Dont get me wrong I love hard footy and often given away my fair share of free kicks but blatant king hits behind play etc I thought were pretty much stamped out these days?

U failed to mention the Scotch blokes (like number 29) going around sniping the 16-18years kids behind play...
Number 5 for Scotch is good to watch up forward as that blokes airial skills are pretty impressive & he is very sharp in front of the big sticks.
As for the umpiring in Div 4 your right about that this year as have been very questionable decisions with no real conistantcy & performances have been worse than this most of the year.
Scotch are a very good side though, them & Salisbury are the teams to beat & both of them wont be in Div 4 for too long.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

Tex
What i meant was Chad found it HARD to committ at higher levels
Underage at North for e.g
Yes good player in 2nd rate comp in the South East. Why didnt he try out for the higher level down South East, Answer to HARD
Just like many other very good juniors at Kilburn and just like many other good juniors at all other clubs as well.
We all have seen to many of these types not play to their full potential at higher levels, too hard maybe the wrong word perhaps committment is the better word
Thanks

Great win by the dragons last Saturday out at Salisbury, another big game for us this week with scotch at thebby oval where they did us by 5 goals last time there after we were up at 3 quarter time, need to turn that result around to keep pressing for a finals berth.

It was certainly a tight battle from the bit I saw.
Chubb was outstanding, took a heap of marks.
I'm interested to know you're thoughts on the Jets OE.
they seem to get a lot of run from Chettle and the Khabbazz boys and Skob is obviously a star across half back, Fahey is having a big year at FF... do you give them a chance?
Or rank them a fair bit off Salis and Scotch??

Catch...I think the top 6 all have a chance now with a few falling over in the past few weeks. If ther jets have a weakness it is defence. I thinku have the runners and also good height. You ruckman is handy too. Will u win the flag would hard to say all sides have players they can ill afford to lose thats the key from here in.

What are other peoples thoughts on the top 6?

Scotch: pretty skilful and pacey, probably have the most X factor of all sides. Play only top 6 sides from here on in.
Salisbury: well drilled and do not turn over possession easily. Probably easiest run home.
Hectorville: Good allround team and belief they can win
Greenies: Have a fair few fwds in particular that can be very damaging on their day.
Jets: .
Kilburn: Well drilled, spread hard when get the footy.

Winner of Scotch v Salisbury this week should get top. Not sure for us it matters who wins as Scotch are a game of Salisbury ahead but much harder draw, can the winner make sure its by alot!! Edit: I think we need it to be Salisbury by heaps.
And Fitzroy pleeease beat Heccies this week!

I'm pretty sure there's a clinical definition for people like you who find joy in someone elses failure but the street definition is W.A.N.K.E.R.

For mine in theis Div.. Scotch on there day are very very good. I believe it may come down to where the finals are played. Pags mob love the open spaces. Greenies are hitting top gear at the right time. The one that surprises me is Heccies they just keep winning and good on them . As I said earlier it will come down to who gets on the park. The loss of one or two important players and it all changes
