So sick of them having a quality side good enough to go close but never really getting there. What is missing?

BH, apart from your silky skills skulking in the forward lines, a bit of cohesion coupled with some desire to play team footy and being accountable for your opponent wouldn't go astray.

Loxton. Kicked 9 on the weekend. Not bad for a bloke playing on the ball. He has kicked some big bags this year.

Not a bad effort for an onballer very impressive.

How are Loxton going?

They would have to be happy with recruiting Pete.

Could anyone give me an honest opinion of Port Districts Simon Maddern? Never seen him play, but have heard he's a solid contributor and a top bloke on and off the field.

One of lifes true gentlemen.

Fantastic club person, family man and can play a little bit too.
Whether its playing cricket or football (was captain of both) or just life in general, Simon always gives 100%. He never likes to be beaten in anything, let alone have goals kicked on him.

Port District should be proud that he chose to spend most of his young adult life with them.

Correct, too far to travel from down south, work & wife committments. A big loss.

Is Challan playing elsewhere? Or is that it?

I have a sneaky suspicion he may turn up at a club in the SFL. Might be because he got a clearance signed the night
he said "au revoir".
Just wants to have a kick a bit closer to home I think.
