You only have yourself to blame mate. Win one of your finals matches this year, and you could have left this thread behind for the intelligence of the D3 thread... ;)

It's the off-season for christ sakes.... talking crap is expected.... Get over and look forward to when the season starts and serious footy talk 'may' return ;)

so here is some footy.
have been told in the past few days that PAOC should have 2 of their 2004' mid-feilders returning from interstate and that seb paynter who is a young bloke that finished at the school 2 years ago and has been playing ressies and a bit of league is a bit over the pressures of the sanfl so will be out at the club, so good things all round.

seb paynter is a very handy player, i didnt know he played any league footy though, if so not many games. why would he leave playing league footy were he would be getting payed reasonably well to play div 4 for free, unless PAOC do pay players

OK. I'll contribute some footy news too. The foundations have gone down and the slab will soon be laid to commence the first stage of the clubrooms at Harpers Field. So (hopefully) all teams that play in Div 4 this year (as well as C5 and C6) will get the use of some nice facilities for a change !!
Not sure of the completion date but knowing the setbacks and delays so far we still have plenty of time to stumble on some ancient Dinosaur fossils or ancient Aboriginal carvings in the trees or something.... stay tuned...

played 2-3 games this year, and piccachu my furry little friend not all blokes play football for $$ some just want to enjoy the game like when they were kids with their mates.
i was told as i said before that he was not enjoying the pressure to perform anymore and just wanted a year to have fun with his mates. and he certaily wont be getting payed at the reds. the only payments at PAOC are for the top 5 best players each week. and i think its like 150 for best and down from there

I think he left because Portland Guaranteed him XXXXXL size shorts, something North Haven couldn't commit to.

thats fair enough mate, i just would have thought whilst he was still young and getting opportunities to play at league level, he would have a fair dinkum crack at it and make a living out of it i know i would prefer to play SANFL football as a full time job than work, but like you said each to there own
