The 4 week suspension for striking was from a player outside of the northern suburbs so he cops a lighter punishment, I'm sure that is written somewhere in the rules..

I can't stop laughing at the thought... 8 weeks for abuse and a 4, 6, 8 and 10 week suspension for striking.. hurting my head trying to work out how the abuse (whatever was said) was worse and on par with some of the striking suspensions.. surely striking someone will cause more damage than abuse..

Agreed does seem excessive in comparison to the other charges, maybe he abused the tribunal on the way out

Somewhat impressive to come up with that combination of words in the heat of the moment really.

But if that was the case, deserved 8 weeks, no #greatnorthernconspiracy.

I think a real problem here moving forward is that a lot of people, keyboard warriors, and of course umpires read this forum... a lot... now every time they get assigned to a game to a northern side, they keep ‘an eye’ for the suspected late hit and bullshit free kick. I am not condoning anything from the other day but speaking from my own personal opinion, and always playing for a so called rough side, we have never propositioned nor asked anyone to do something stupid. And honestly can say we have been stupidly umpired against for reputation.
With all the bullshit going on, I don’t envy salisbury next year. Bad name

Absolute joke how the Elizabeth B grade can finish 2nd after minor rd, win a final last week loose today and their season is done!! Wtf surely they should have played Luthies today for a spot in the gf then the loser play next week against PH for the remaining spot....yes i know if Elizabeth were to win today they would have gone through but **** you finish 2nd and dont get a double chance! Very poor by the those who made this decision.
