New Draft divisions for next year

I don't think there will be as many teams willing to do this as often as many think. Changeroom sizes will also become an issue when you put another team in from another club as opposed to all the same club. There is also nowhere near the benefit to the home club as there was before with a different team packing up and going.

I was under the understanding that the whole " C' grade comp was going to be run at 10.15am, what happened to that?

Clubs that have requested will have it put in the program, the plan was to alleviate clubs having to ring each other to organise it

That would be a good thing, less work for the clubs the better. What happens now if we want to play early and the other club wants to play late. What time will this "c" grade comp start - 10.15am, 12.15pm or 2.15pm.?

the 2 clubs will have to work out what is best for them both.

Well i was just given word (or part) of the teams we will be playing this year. Will be a little more difficult than first thought but im looking forward to the challenge. Until it is broadcasted as it has been mentioned i cant comment any further. Be good to see the view on the triples. The league want to schedule them in. If its disagreed (just reading this from other posts) a compromise must be met. Not a bad idea. Definately agree that its a good thing the responsibility is (or some) is taken away from the clubs so they can concentrate on other things.

I'm guessing that c1 will be programmed to start either at 2.15pm with triple headers at 10.15am or post a grade with uni's c3 side programmed for 12.15pm homegames and various away times (as has happened to our c4/c5/c6 sides over the last four years).
I'd hazard a guess that c2, c3, c4 will have a nominal start time of 2.15 unless triple headers have been organised or earlier starts requested.

Isn't it the other way round, all c grade games will be scheduled for 10:15 and if you want it different you have to organise it?

Looks like retirement is on the cards if that's the case, under 10's time slot FFS

I can find you a game mate at 12.15 if your interested . . . . . . .
I have a problem. It's to do with the little man, the squashed-in French man, the naked little squashed up hairy boy! You know! With the hand feet

Gee you blokes its not brain surgery clubs get together and work it out. Nobody is forcing you to play at 10.15am

It's a new system or should I say how it was before we had North/South Comps & and aligned with your A Grade.

You will all be surprised how well you will compete against other sides from different grades.

Just because a C Grade's A grade plays in D1 does not necessarily makes them stronger than a C grade team from C3 or below.

We competed for many years in D7 & D7 Res and were more than competitive winning flags in both grades and beating A & B grade teams along the way. It is not all doom and gloom withing a 2 year period all stand a lone C grade sides should be in their correct grade of where they should be competitvely.

Lets bounce the ball and let the games begin
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

I believe Mawson Lakes requested triple headers and didn't get one. Didn't even get put in the C grade div most Div 6 clubs are in. Looks like a fair bit of ringing around fir them!

Might be a silly question or statement but would nt be better to elevat the Adel Uni sides so as there is no bye for Div 8 & R? I dont see it as much of an issue to have them there. Could be wrong though.

Only had nine.

Flinders Park, Modbury, Uni, TTG, SHOC and Henley are the only other clubs with a D Grade and they're already in Div 6 or 7.

we (uni) thought about going in with our 5th and 6th sides but decided to hold fire this year to see if there were other clubs interested. wouldn't surprise me if down the track, uni end up there.
