Being a one eyed swampy I was envious of their jumpers (magpie lace ups).Had a big ruckman who looked like Paul Marrett with the same coke bottle glasses and a tiny ponytailed wingman who would of had 50 kicks on the day. Also played against Taperoo and their green shed change rooms which leaked like buggery when it rained and was always amazed when I went to the Exeter/ Semaphore Centrals ground how 2 clubs could share the same facilities.Always hard games on that side of town but playing teams such as Rivies, Albie United (Maxy Clarke AU legend),Rosies was great.

For the record BM North Haven are Port Pres. not Taperoo, we just play on their old oval in case there is any confusion

For the record I don't rate Adelaide Lutheran that highly, will not feature in the finals.

Why not? they had Haven on toast for 3 1/2 quarters..

Haven had 85% of possession just were a bit average across the forward line. Played 20 minutes well and won by 4 goals. Just my opinion from playing against them, they are ok but don't think they will play finals footy.

We had a couple of blokes go and watch Lutheran last week - they reckon they were pretty impressive. They are above us on the ladder, so that might speak for itself.

You have scouts Felch, Riversidealbertonunitedethelton must have a massive budget to afford that.

Rhys was b & f last year. Has only played two this year because of a knee injury should be back next week. He also missed 1 game because he was in queensland for his honeymoon

I hear all the players are heading to the local presbyterian church this sunday for a bit of a Saturday night sin repenting, followed by training at the snakepit and BBQ snags with Shaggy and his dog.
