Better ground than the college mate...

No arguement there Pag... but its not very central and will have to fill up for the return journey  was supposed to be at Thebby as I understand it.... apparently we (as in both clubs) applied weeks ago and were given a small rubber stamp from HQ but I guess with all the changes down that way sh!t happens

We had heard Thebby during last week as well. If it makes you feel better, it's an even longer drive just for us to go and have a look.

I'm led to believe SCOTCH nominated St.Marys as their home ground....... I have been wrong many times though according to the missus...... But I know I'm right ;)
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

So what if Scotch did nominate St Marys? Rule 36.23 e on page 82 of the
handbook clearly says the higher ranked club can choose whatever oval they
want. And what if it was the League that chose St Marys? What other oval
could they play this final and make everyone pay to enter. All lockable
ovals except Salisbury are being used by home teams this Saturday.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Neutral ground, good nick (I presume, has always stood up fairly well from memory). In Greenacres favour I reckon.

Superb footy ground - particularly for finals - cars around the ground etc..
Scotch will win easily IMO

Are you both saying that St Mary's suits Greenacres more than Scotch?

I agree it's a good footy ground and particularly for finals. I also think Scotch will win, but not necessarily easy.

How its panned out is the school team have the oval now at scotch. Prior Greenies and scotch had Thebby hooked up only to be booted off for another fixture. St Marys is a good ground, more $$$$$$$$ for kenilworth

Greenacres beat Scotch at Thebby five weeks ago, I'm not sure how well Scotch adapt to playing big ovals when theirs is so small. I know they won the first game (also at Thebby) but I don't think Greenacres were going as well back then.

Will be a top game to watch, regardless of result.

Can Kilburn push deep into this years finals series? I remember speaking late last year with a few members at the club who said they wouldn't settle for anything less than a GF appearance. Have done well, good luck for the series, hope they do well! :D

Yep i think Killburn are a good chance to push on deep into finals. Although as Salisbury found last season when you need to win week after week in the 2nd half of the season it takes a lot out of you. Should be a good finals series all teams involved have had success against each other during the season
