Should never write off a club before a season
people where talking bout portland last year losing this bloke and that bloke
but their young fella's obviously came good and club won a premiership

see how they are travelling after 9 rounds before you make any judgement
yes not good to lose good players etc but at some stage or another clubs have ebbs and flows
Some like to say Arrogant, I like to say confident.

I find it interesting how everyone can judge or state about teams that they have no inner knowledge of..( I do it alot ) but never to say a team will or wont be competitve especially at this early stage.

It is amusing isn't it !! I guess it's all part of the pre-season confidence about their own club that everyone carries... which starts fading pretty quickly for quite a few teams once the real stuff starts !! All good fun though...

Looked to host a trial game on either the 20th (friday night) or 22nd (sunday) of march. Looking for any team, in any grade, in any league that would be keen for a game. To find out further details PM and i will pass on all relevant infomation to the club.

Cheers

Imagine that. Parkies v brahma lodge. Parkies win by 20 goals and all the people who sacked payney would say they are justified in sacking him even know they wouldn't need a coach with the talent at eastern park to beat brahma lodge. A team looking to play finals footy in div 6 v a team in div 2 would just be a massacre

Do you guys have an under 18's side? Or was there just a heap of young kids playing in your internal? I counted about 10 that looked pretty young. Wasn't spying either. The young one wouldn't stop crying so I took him for a drive and inadvertently found myself driving past!
