Kilburn played Div 3 finals in 08 I reckon. Made it to the preliminary that year.

Think your right, that was the 1st year Steve O'Conner returned, the next year was when they made that fateful decision to move up to div 2 to replace Edwardstown who went to SFA, and lost a mountain of players + injuries and slid dramatically downhill.

The finals match ups this week I think Scotch will win on the bigger ground they have a lot of run. Hold there key posi players quiet and Greenies are a BIG show. Sorry Turk Scotch by 3 goals. Heccies & Kilburn toss of the coin we were competitive with both and both player a similar brand. Think Kilburns forwards may be a tad better so lean to them with no real confidence. Well done on getting there.

Tipping Scotch and Kilburn tomorrow. Wouldn't surprise me if I'm wrong in both games though.

Good luck to all.

What an absolute crock of sh!t!
With respect to every other Unley player, Skobes' bad games were better than any one elses best games. The blokes a gun and plays with no concern for his own safety and is our best player basically every week. He wears a bloody helmet and takes speccies every game, how did the umps miss him????

In the last 3 years Chettle has come 3rd,2nd,6th. He's a very good player and the umps love to give him votes, wouldn't be suprissed if he is right up there.

Was also surprised to see Skobes and Barrie not in that list. Uern from Greenacres will take it out methinks.

Like beef said, Dimasi the only chance from Salisbury. I only played 11 (and wasn't that good), Couzner missed a lot as well, and S-Mac hasn't had his best year by his standards.

Well done to beef for getting himself a nod after a broken leg.
