ha ha, not even sure if we can buy a home final yet because we have always had an agreement with CUB rather than West End. I have never played a home final because of this, but the rumour is that this year might be the first. Whats the bet that once home finals become available both A's and C's will finish third :)

Will Henley buy a home final Marbles, considering your A's have their final round at Campbeltown oval leaving shark park free?

ha fair thought

ive never known henley to not take a home final?? anyone anyone

in the end we're set on playing at Petaringa and any thing different is out of our hands

am i allowed to ask what the conflict is with the CUB & west end? Do SAAFL finals get endorsed by west end (a proud sharks sponsor :) ) or something :?

From what I understand is that West End is a major sponsor of the SAAFL, so any club that serves one of it's competitors eg CUB is ineligible to host a final.

wow so really TTG Div 2's are hunting for a neutral ground only (not a home final) rather than having to go play at Port Districts or Uni in week one

Pretty sure this was voted on at the delegates meeting last year, the motion to free up all clubs to host finals no matter the products they serve was quashed. It was seen to put in jeaopardy a major sponsoship deal. Cant see it changing.

You would be stupid not to pay for a home final if youve earned the opportunity to host one. Can be such an advantage. Pertaringa is a massive advantage for TTG in my opinion. Incredibly hard to win there, and TTG don't seem to play as well away from there.

This is usually the case with TTG, we fight to make sure we get a neutral ground in finals.

Then you'll more than likely be playing at Pertaringa oval. I reckon TTG,s A's will finish on top and get the week off. :-bd

Flinders Parks playing for finals this week, hmmm hate to be playing that juggernaut :P

and angle vale hmmm theyd be one side we've played lately that i'd hate to play again

North Pines will seal 5th spot against flinders uni?? Uni a no chance easy game then :p

Id back smithfield against modbury

Shocs will be tough at old high school, that ground is always in awesome condition everytime we play there, like gridiron turf

I would say top 5 is locked in for the finals with Angle Vale clear 2 spots in 4th. North Pines have been pretty lucky with their last 2 games of the season with Flinders Uni and Smithfield (although I wouldn't be surprised is Smithfield give them a good go) compared to Flinders Park playing Mitchell Park and Henley.

not sure why it is lucky as everyone plays each other twice
If they had played them earlier then they would be 2 games clear
