Hold on.... Salisbury and Kilburn requested to stay in Div 4 so I'm reliably told.

I can reliably tell you no one at Kilburn has asked to stay in div 4. Chics are in div 3 in 2016 #coldhardfact

No idea where the Salisbury rumour came from and I've only speculated as to its source. They would be crazy not to go up IMO. They will not improve anymore by staying in Div 4. They've earns promotion and despite what Robbed of his brain cells Stark thinks, will be competitive.

That this rumour pre-existed the Div 4 Grand Final could have put everyone in an awkward spot, particularly given Salisbury was up by so much at 3/4 time. In a parallel universe where they go on to win by 5+ goals Kilburn being promoted and Salisbury remaining in Div 4 I think would have left an even fouler taste in everyone's mouth.

taking nothing away from either team but the talent is not up to div 3 standard and would be 10-15 goals thrashing week in week out safer for both clubs to hide in div 4

Robb, how would you know?. Most of these guys WON D3premiership only 3 years ago. Almost the same team? Clown

so they are all 3 years older now and slower and having the same team going into div 3 that is older and slower will get destroyed

Average age about 23 except for the Big Shrek that destroys the average. Matt Whelan retiring all else except (TBS) under 28. Hows your theory going now ROBB. And I only call names to people who know shjt and don't know that they only know shjt.

Clutts is a confirmed retiree, as is Jake Levy.

Just on the standard of div 4. No doubt the top 3 were not as good as last year but from 4 down personally I think was a better standard. Last year we finished 6th, this year we had What I would consider a better side and finished 7th. A little different circumstances with injuries ect however like last year it was extremely even the bottom 2/3's of the comp.

Ever heard of recruiting and junior development?
Or is the club going to fold once these players retire?

I can't believe anyone at Kilburn ever suggested we would stay down. it has never been spoken about. I would be curious to know who has suggested otherwise.

Clutts, Levy and Whelo done. Trussy having second thoughts about retiring. We all know that a lot of people have two or three retirements though. I think Whelan's on his third and would have to be tempted to play game 250 for Kilburn (he finished on 249).

Junior Development yeah easy to say but kilburn let it die along the way think they fielded 2-3 teams this year similar amount to last year

looks like they tryed to get a under 16s team up and running but looks like they only played 6 games out of 13

I guess by saying "official" it may be interpreted as an "unofficial" request may have been made
