Congrats to the flexalicous-legrand div 7 B-grade henley sharks who have a 100% record in the first half of the season. Good luck for the second half
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

A win is a win, but consecutive close contests against ingle farm and broadview doesn't add up for smithfield

Can anyone give us insight on how the grounds where yesterday. Flinders park cricket pitch area underwater and rest of the ground very slippery and sloppy. New footy lasted one quater before it was stuffed.

Broadview's ground had water laying on the centre
but was reasonable considering the conditions. Was reasonably
firm but the ball was saturated very quickly. As usual
we had a great tussle with them and were lucky enough to come
away with the points. Look forward to repaying the hospitality
on the return leg. :D

Despite Houghton getting four inches of rain overnight, the ground held up surprisingly well and didn't turn into a mud pit. Unfortunately an extremely large pool of water prevented Flinders Uni from using the traditional opposition bench.

There is a drain there. It got blocked, hence the flooding.

To mark the boundary. Made it easier for the boundary umpire to throw it in.

Nothing like a moat to keep the sheep of the oval ;) . Wait until that rain sinks in the oval will be a mess! Love it :)

It's only a metre or so in from the boundary, so won't have too much of an effect on the playing surface. Won't be running laps tomorrow night though
