A combination of a few things but IMO, too many blokes playing as individuals, terrific when going forward but unaccountable when the opposition has the ball, then the laziness kicks in and unfit people get caught out. Scott leaving has made a difference but not to the degree that we've gone downhill faster than the Biafran Bobsled team in the Olympic Games.
Every club has injuries, depth is important but that is not the main concern here.
It's not rocket science, but some of them think they don't have to work as hard as the next guy, WRONG!
Reputations are just peoples thoughts, be they good or bad!

Atleast you don't make excuses "like injuries" for your team ace, not like alot of other sides i know of.
Gepps obviously have the talent in their side but maybe not the balance.
Maybe their to big & not quick enough which exposes them to the smaller run & carry type sides in the comp.
They may have enjoyed reading & believing in all the over-rated hype that was written about them earlier in the year & become "Big Headed" & over confident.
Maybe ace put them all infront of a mirror & ask them all individually what they really see & be honest with themselves & their team-mates, you may find some of their heads are stuck that far up their arse they can't look at themselves.

Thats my observation anyway!

NO-MERCY wrote: SHOC v PT Dist- Hard to beat at home although Dist have beaten 4 of the top 5 sides. 11-20
Gaza v T T Gully- Good game this one but T T Gully look a better side. 21-30
Henley v Salis Nth- The banks not helping Henley out at present coz they have overdrawn for all their gun signings early in the year, they are now struggling to pay weekly so this will leave them 0-4 from the last 4. 11-20
Modbury v Goodwood- The Hawks to take it right up to the Saints.- 11-20
Rostrevor v Gepps Cross.- After last weeks big loss the Gepps Boys have alot of work to do to turn it around, i'm not sure wheather they can.21-30

As for a medallist this early out Heath Culpitt (T T Gully)

Some big calls came through NM - Im in awe..

I think Roey is at the stage where he's got to wear a helmet, he hasn't got much hair to pull out but by geez, some of this lot are enough to make you want do it.

Ace, was told on the weekend , by a long time observer of GX games , that the game against Sals Nth was the worst A grade effort he had seen since Gub was coaching [and Gub didn't have this sort of cattle ]. looks like this weekend was the same.

Moz, your info is pretty close to the mark.
Nothing short of embarrasing with the "players" we've got but sh^t, a few go missing when they're challenged.

Gully's far better than Gaza on the weekend. Result, 2 goals, flattered Gaza. Brunoli for Gullies was simply fantastic and easy BOG, with Culpitt 2nd. Competition starting to break with the top 3 being two games clear, and the bottom five two games behind sixth. Are henley back? Are Gepps gone? - surely not, still have too much talent! They will rebound.

Lads....good to see you back, the suns shining and a bit warmer, so it's either a break in hibernation or was parole approved?

Lads, welcome back!
How come they had a Sunday morning session, was Roey at the club when a few called in for a beer on the way home from Sat night so he made them train?
The way they played on Saturday, not even extra training sessions will get them over the line, irrespective of how hard he makes them work.
