To mark the boundary. Made it easier for the boundary umpire to throw it in.

Shovelling water isn't the easiest of tasks.

Not trying to be smart as i just dont know the rule but what would have happened if Flinders Uni refused to sign the Match day insurance form and said it was too dangerous?

An attempt was made to unblock the drain that morning, but the water wasn't going anywhere.

The two clubs agreed to marking the boundary around the water and Flinders Uni using the changeroom verandah as their bench and interchange. Problem solvered.

That pic of Houghton was interesting. When away in Newcastle 2 years ago I saw a game where 1 entire forward 50 was like that after the creek behind flooded. Apart from being the worst standard game I had ever seen any team kicking @ goal that end had no chance unless they were within 15 metres and having a spinning kick @ goal like an Olympic ice skater.....

Would've thought the smart thng for you to do would be to keep the focus off smithfield for a few weeks?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

So now we are at the halfway mark of the season - here is the ladder as it stands

1 - Ingle Farm
2 - Houghton
3 - Angle Vale
4 - SHOC's
5 - Smithfield
6 - Flinders Park
7 - Flinders Uni
8 - Henley
9 - Broadview
10 - North Pines

How do people think the ladder will change?

I would definatly say that the top 2 is rock solid.. The rest is still game on!

I thought they could have possibly have been a threat, but I now have my doubts after seeing their narrow win over Broadview on the weekend!. I think they are too inconsistant, one week their good and the next they are average. You need to be consistant to win a flag!!!!

Just focused on coming back after the bye with a big 2nd-half of the minor round so we can fight hard for a finals spot.

Yeah I'd have to agree with you tomo, some games the team looks like there pumped for it especially when they come up against a good side, but when it comes to a easy team they think its gonna be a easy win! Ive watch the last couple weeks of them and when there at there best I think they can win against most of the teams

Sitting 5th at the moment with significantly more percentage than 6th & 7th teams. 5 home games to come. I would expect Smithfield to play finals.
