He didn't play Div 7R on saturday i think he got the call up to Div 2. Didn't stop him watching though and being involved in a brawl in the ressies....that's right him and another Uni supporter got involved in a scuffle with the players at quarter time.

he played c1 on a one week loan deal. was good without dominating or being the difference between the sides.

just a question finn(as your the c1 coach for uni) wouldnt you want wes playing for you each week.i really find it a bit hypocritical that he was on a ONE WEEK LOAN... c1 is still c grade and i know hes a good player. so playing div 2 or 2 res is not a prob,,,,,but he obviously can play in the c1 s and youve said before hes playing with his mates in 7 res....i find this strange.....ah i know.....he has the div 7 res medal sown up so now be the first person in history to win two medals in one year with c1 s. remember finn as you are the coach of c1 , if you pick him and he dont show he doesnt get picked the following week in 7 res, is this correct

Adelaide University v Angle Vale
St Paul's College OS v Sacred Heart OC
Mitchell Park v SMOSH West Lakes
Flinders University v Paralowie
Athelstone v Henley

- Angle Vale playing some good footy by the looks of it and i'm tipping them to cause an upset over the blacks away from home...Owls by 25 points
- St Pauls to be fired up this week 3 losses in a row by no more than 2 goals have hurt the lads and i expect nothing less than a 4 quarter effort this week....Saints by 52 points
- Mitchell Park easily by 87 points...Bates to have a field day
- Paralowie make the big road trip south....fatigue may effect Boxhead in the magoos but the seniors should do it comfortably....Roos by 68 points
- Match of the Round 2 v 3....Henley looking shaky but still winning but i think The Raggies at home will be too strong....Raggies by 15 points

Fatigue never worries Boxhead, Mr Riddler.... The only thing that worries me is how long can I keep carrying Hendo in the Magoos.

Adelaide University v Angle Vale
St Paul's College OS v Sacred Heart OC
Mitchell Park v SMOSH West Lakes
Flinders University v Paralowie
Athelstone v Henley

Adelaide Uni easy by 11 goals. Half of Angle Vale wont rock up.
St Pauls by 3 Points after the siren, thanks to The SuperBoot of Kells
Mitchell Park by 137 points, coz SMOSH are very ordinary
Paralowie by 15 goals to continue strong form, with Barnes kicking 14 and Holland .5
Athelstone by 56 points, Henley dont like travelling.

that's the theory but i know wes has been playing 7res with foster ever since he first came out to uni and he came out to play with his mates in that side. sure, i'd love to have him but given a choice between him not playing at the club or playing 7res i'd sooner have him out at the club. he'd be the first player to win a medal with no votes though given he wasn't in the umpires' best three. :)

i agree d/w why go on about a sandbagger when you could spend time talking about me!!! after all i won a D7R association medal in 2006 at the tender age of 40!! i do agree tho not much chance of anyone else gettn it this year with wes still goin round. question to everyone do you think (coz the umpires would know of players like wes) the umpires should not give votes to these players as my opinion is the votes should go to players playing well at that level, not players that of course will dominate as they are much higher level players, this is similar to clubs giving a-grade players that come back through b-grade or c-grade etc. due to injury or to regain form etc. best & fairest votes when they will be back up in grade in 1 to 2 weeks, isnt that a waste of votes as they will not play many games in the lower grades??????
good things come to those who wait
bad things go to the ones who talk crap
and i won an association medal

Always so modest Bax i love it
You'll be a shoe in for the Old Farts Team of the Year wouldn't you?

I see your point but i think you give votes to whoever plays well on the day no matter who they are are what grade they usually play...I just hope to hell the umps aren't giving votes based on reputation and not how they perform.
