Yes it was back to their best footy in the second half today. Modbury kept it tight in the first half but a bit of class came to the fore after halftime.
Coxy's 60+ metre torpedo goal brought some cheers, let me tell you. It was a beauty! Long live the "barrel"

Cox was the only difference in the game really.... big key forward taking marks and kicking straight. Didnt think they were as good as when we played them the first time
Modbury had a chance to be much further than 4 goals up in the second qtr but as happened against goodies twice we didnt capitalise when we had chances to increase the lead from 3-4 goals to 6-7 and other team pegs its back.
Hopefully get 4 players back from injury/holidays this weekend with a big couple of weeks for the lads coming up!

Psst FS, we had about 5 out of our best A grade team out too so your not on your own with missing players. I think you're also selling Joel Campbell's effort a bit short but we did play much better against you the first time which I think, given who was not available, is understandable

FS. i would say that GX's run and delivery out of defence was the difference between the sides., not just one player.
Ace. yes it was good to see the 'screwy ' get an airing. the cheer just about lifted the roof off the verandah. [ must have been a good chairmans lunch ]
