If the Bays were after a small fwd I would have thought Ashby from Smithies would be the one to go after.

I wonder why your runner would be I n the crowd to start with? Oh no cant be your clubs fault hey?

So your saying your match day official wasn't doing his job then?

And there was nothing in it anyway.

No I'm saying the runner wasn't in the crowd but was between the fence and the boundary. I class the runner as an official should have clarified.

If Jamie Lane plays B grade the rest of the season and learns how to kick straight he will win the goal kicking by plenty... would've kicked 6.12 on the weekend - most the behinds from shots in front, goals came from ridiculous angles..

That's very uncharacteristic of Jamie, usually has a great conversion rate.

Did he have to take a pay cut to play reserves?
What the going rate for reserves now, still $60 a game.

I'll wear that if it was directed at the wrong person not a problem. Apology is out there. But it Doesn't matter what or who, unless they were actually there and saw the incident they shouldn't be judging what happened at all. Too much here say and innuendo. The whole day was an interesting experience.

I don't think money would matter in this situation, I think it would be more about the opportunity to play at that level and I spoke with him last night and he said just that, he was grateful to be given the opportunity and absolutely loved it. Named in the best too so obviously made an impression.

I always thought he was capable of playing at a higher level. I would assume he would just need to be a tad fitter (ok a lot fitter) than he would need to be at a div 6 club but having better quality delivery and support around him would help his style and bring him to a better level.

Big loss for BL but if he can back it up and continue to have an impact then he might not make it back into a BL Guernsey this year.

But nobody of any quality plays lower than D3, you all know that.
